hi everyone... my appeal hearing happened this past wednesday. The judge who was female had said at the end that she liked both the counsel and my lawyers submission and that she will go to her office and after going through the notes will make a decision. any idea how long this will take...

indeed very sad to hear all the struggles we all have to go through.. regarding my case it was refused due to him sending me finances..he had applied for refugee claim and took the case back and they say he has lied to immg saying he need refugee when he didnt. and he was positive for drug...

I have applied for appeal in July 2012 and received the notice in August that they received my application and now waiting for the "record" to be mailed to canada service border agency and to me. I have not received any reason of why the refusal was given and/but my husband was in canada...

well there was no valid reason stated in the letter they just refused him the arc and so i saw one lawyer he said it might take overall 2-3 years for him to apeal and "if won" get to canada....cost of $5000 for his fee and so i wanted to know if there is other ways or if i wanted to to have...

okay guys..sad news after 3 years of waiting my husband was send a letter of refusal....just last week....with no reason....he applied for the ARC and the officer didnt allow him the authorization.. now iam gonna appeal ...can someone guide me

9. BloomingFlower..........(visa officer and background check still going)

i had my mp contact chc-isb on the status of my case and mp said it is still on -on going background check but the file as move to the visa officer as of may 2...

guys any idea of how long it will take for the visa officer to issue visa when file is in their hands....and still going on background check since dec 8, (5 months)

omg.... just got a call from the mp and he said as of may 2 file as been in the hands of visa officer and still on ongoing background check...he submitted his pcc dec 8 2011 so it has been 5 months since in background check..... please ..please...please..please... someone tell me how long...

well..my situation was also very complicated..but regarding the case....from the get go..i have handled the file...so my hubby just does what I tell him regarding the case...cause i know the case details from inside out and resolved the complication that occured and so he knows that I know best...
