Hello Everyone,

My wife received AOR in the mail today dated for April 27, 2010. Not sure why it took so long to show up but I am pleased that it has. Along with the AOR was the supplementary document requirement similar to the SirLanka only form in Part 3 of the country specific application kit.

1 month and 30 days to receive communication from immigration from time letter from CPC-M was received to when AOR was received.

Would be nice if they update the kit to include the form in the future.

i will u one more interesting thing
as many of u know my time line for my hubby.....still it is as follows:
june09 filed application for hubby
july09 approved
aug09 case started processing in isl + additional document requested
april 2010 updated polic certificate request
n till now nothing

so the funny thing is tht the updated police certificate will expire in october since its valid for six months...so does it mean they will request for a third one now? wow? really not fair !!

Application received in Mississauga 24th March 2010
File transferred to Islamabad in 27th April 2010
File processing began on June 5th, 2010
Letter of Acknowledgement recieved on June 9h, 2010
Supplementart forms and Additional documents recieved in CHC-ISB on June 21st, 2010

No update since then, just waiting to hear from Islamabad.

my application came to to islamabad last year 2 november and i got letter from them and in letter they mentioned my application process start from 11 nov 2009,and give me 9 months time.

The letter is a general letter for everyone, and it says 9 months for everybody. On Average, its taking about 12 to 18months who applied in early-mid 2009
