Hello guys,

How can I find out if my file has been transferred to London Visa Office, I called my MP (Chris Alexander's) office who is also the immigration minister, his assistant asked me to sign and give her consent form which I did and she told me the next week that my file is in London as well. But, since my first letter in July 2012 that file was accepted and sent for processing to Islamabad, I have never ever received any correspondence ever since. No letter or E-mails.

So where do I E-Mail if I need to find out the current status of my file, since I'm seeing all people whose files were transferred to London from ISB received either an email or letter stating there file has been transferred.

Please help , I will really appreciate it :,(

Aoa. same here. im april 2012 applicant n still hvnt rcvd any correspondence yet from isl nor london. if the mp states tht ur file is in london then u can enquire thru london portal or order gcms notes. no need to worry.

lagta hai abb 2 years wait karna paray ga for PPR and remedical. inshAllah you should get PPR in the next 2 months maximum.

I was wondering the same, looks like people have given up hope [which nobody can blame them for] and gone into waiting mode. I just wish they would start a transparent process with updates sent regularly to applicants and a timeline till when they will complete the process. But then I also wish to get $50 mil

yup u r true everyone looks just so tired of talking about tha visa process i think people just hate the word CIC loxx..transparent process is not for the pakistani people unfrotunately

If you want you should order notes, takes 2 minutes to order and costs $5. I have gotten in to the habit of ordering them every other month or so just for the heck of it.

i have a question ....right now i am waiting for the PPR after remedical in dec 2013..i dont know how much time CIC will take more now i want to ask if i apply visit visa is it ok?in this case i have to sumbit my pp along with visit visa applicaation and during this process if my PPR comes than what will be happen?

You will have to let them know that you have submitted the pp already for visit visa. Now if your pp at that time is at the same place as the visit visa application then you may just need to forfeit the visit visa request and get your immigration visa.

But if the above is not the case, then looking at the work ethics&response of CHC you are most likely screwed. That was the answer to your question, as a suggestion don't apply for visit visa now for 2 reasons:

1.You are almost done, it shouldn't be long now.
2.Applying for visit visa has become a lot expensive as compared to last year due to the biometric verification which if I remember is ~15k. Save that money to spend when you here $$.

$100 visa fee + $80 Bio-metrics ... result... facing humiliation of rejection while CIC has robbed your money without being answerable to you
