Hi, I applied in April 2012 and my file was transferred in July 2012. I have not heard anything yet except getting my original documents back. I ordered notes and talked to my MP too but of no use so I wanted to see if anyone with same timeline has got anything yet or even people who have applied after me. I talked to my family friend who is immigration lawyer and she was saying that they might take few more months considering the fake marriages in Pakistan but it already 17 months since i applied so how long? its so frustrating. By the way mine is wife case.

WHAT TO DO IF THE MOTHER HAS GOT HER PR ISSUED AND THE BABY CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE IS STILL UNDER PROCESS AND THE BABY HAVENT GOT HER CANADIAN PASSPORT? BUT HAS A PAKISTANI ONE.

You asked for my notes but there is no clarification in my notes. i got in July and it says that criminality and background check has not started and file status is opne and in process.

Hey All

I am new to this forum, have been reading posts silently for quite sometime now. I have one query and was wondering if any of you can help. My husband sponsored me last year, and i got re-medical done in August 2013, now waiting for my PPR.

In my application, i gave two addresses to them, one was mine from Pakistan, the other one was our consultants from Canada. On my e-case this other address is being shown as my mailing address, so does that mean that will mail passport request to Canada to my consultant? or to me at my Pakistani address? I'd appreciate a quick help as we're shifting, need to know if i should get my address changed and how will this affect my case if it will?

Hi,

If the consultant you hired in Canada is authorized representative of your sponsorship case than yes, all correspondence will be directed to him. Otherwise if you provided them your e-mail address than its through the e-mail.

By the way, how did you receive your re-medical request ? To your e-mail or to your Pakistani address ? As you'll receive the PPR the same way you received the re-medical request ? Also, I'd recommend you to inform CHC-I about the change in your mailing address.

Hi APERVAIZ !

I am November 2012 applicant, before receiving add documents and re-medical request in august & September 2013 respectively; I've received my originals back in June 2013.

what does that mean if you get back your origional documents only?

It means that they scanned and copied the originals and upload it on their servers to let the immigration officer(s) at CHC-I go through it electronically; as they no longer required the originals till further notice.
