Hey congratulations! I think it varies on a case to case basis.... What forms did they ask you to fill again? If the forms are to gauge genuineness of your relationship it may take 2+ months... if its something trivial then you could get it sooner. You're a dec 2011 case that has already completed 21 months since filing so yours could go chop chop too....

hey thanx alot.....wish the same good news for u all too....inshallah very soon....
well nah the forms were basically related to my travel history and some family information.....ohh yeah they shud give me visa before dec 2013 inshallah....i really hope so....

Hi,

I was asked to re-fill IMM008, 5406E, 5669E, Pakistani Nationals myr ith Re-PCC, Proof of Financial support, Dates of Co-habitation, and updated proof of contact.

That's pretty much it.

I wonder why the CIC asked you to refill those IMM forms. They usually expire after 1 year but you submitted your application in November. Weird ...

Also just curious about the financial support evidence. I'm not sure whether I'll be asked the same because I only had 1 western union slip but indicated on my original cover letter that my in laws would support my wife financially.

So it was for me too, when I received the letter where they asked me re-fill the said forms along with bla bla bla, I called my father-in-law, asked him; as to why am I asked to update the information, its not even a year old, and he said: don't ask questions when good luck favors ! and I said Okay...susir jee .

As for the financial support; a covering letter regarding what kind of financial support available to you isn't suffice, let alone 1 western union slip. What they are looking for is your sponsor's income and his/her financial arrangements for you like:
His/her recent notices of assessment
His/her T4s
His/her Employments letter(s)
His/her recent pay stubs
your bank statements showing how much money are you saving for yourself.
your sponsor's bank statements. Furthermore, any documentary proof of any other financial support that is available to you.

If it is your in-laws i.e. your mother & father-in-law extending their financial support to you, they can as well include their T4s, and bank statements in support of your application.

Good luck

By th grace of Almighty Allah My wife gave birth to a baby girl last week.
Now I would like to apply for my daughter's proof of citizenship Certificate.
I have been a Canadian Citizen since 2008 and I have applied for my spouse Permanent Residence Visa and she did not get her PR Visa yet.
I would like to know
Should I apply for my daughter's Proof of Citizenship Certificate in Canada or in Islamabad?
If I apply in Canada how long does to take and what documents should send them?
If I apply in Islamabad how long does it take and what documents should I send them?

Please help me guys and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

It is recommended that you call the call center at there 1800-242-2100 number (they will give you updated info, since CIC keeps changing forms)

If you want, to get an idea online. You can visit the link below.

and

Ps. Congratz, it doesn't take long from what i've heard.

i think if he/she is born over seas then u have to apply within that country... so for ur case it's Islamabad. you submit it in islamabad that you will get a conformation letter from them saying the process can take 6-8 months and ur application has been sent to Canada and don't disturb us between this time-line. Also email Ottawa and Islamabad and notify them that you and ur wife had a child on what date.

Thanks! I will include in my cover letter my T4 and explanation of money geared towards savings .... hopefully that will suffice!

Dear All,

Please confirm me below detail.

What is Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

How much it is ?

How to pay ?

I have received letter from ISB in which they ask relationship proof and ask my sponsor to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

Please suggest.

I did it for nephew in Pakistan and it took only a week. In my nephew'a case mother and father both had Canadian cutizenship. They asked for father's family history from NADRA, birth certificate, father and grandfather's Identification Card copies, mother and father's Canadian documents such as passport, mother's original citizenship card, passport, and confirmed tickets to Canada. After one week got everything back.
I would suggest you do it through Pakistan as well.
