CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I have a similar timeline as you... I stayed away from the forum for a while, I was getting agitated by checking the status of everyone's cases. Anyways I contacted my mp a few days ago to get some update, it's free and quicker then ordering the notes..... Let's see what happens.

Mine's a November 2011 case. I've ordered notes last week for the first time. I guess I'm looking at at 2 weeks to 1 month until they arrive. Hope it's something positive or some hints that shows some progress. I'll let you guys know when I do get them. Please pray it's something good.

My hubby got extremely frustrated. I was going to go to Pk to be with him until his papers come through, but unfortunately, my father just lost his job he has been at for a long time. Now we have bills, mortgage, groceries and all...so I had to cancel my plan to go otherwise it would have been hard for my parents to manage. He understands but is still frustrated.

I REALLY need something positive!

Are you late 2011 or a 2012 applicant? In my case, I am a late 2011 applicant and I was told by my MP case worker last year that CPP Ottawa had my file because they were taking some load off of Islamabad and Syria. Haven't heard anything at all since Jan 2012 which is when I got approved as a sponsor. I have no idea why the process is not the same and who CPP Ottawa decided to pick up or even if it's a good thing. Hoping my GCSM notes will give me an idea.

Im received my aor in april 2012.. Im confused if file being in isl since the beginning is a good thing..
Also,applying online seems very conveniant n can husband do it on my behalf? I applied last year n got rejected but it was a very tiring process..had to submit fee in a different place,then went to gerrys 2 times before finally my app was submitted..it would be nice if my husband did all the work
Lastly abt the notes..my lawyer advices against ordering them bcz then he wont b responsible for me as im ordering them on my own..any thoughts?

The purpose was to visit her spouse (myself) for a month during her vacation, she is in a job that might not be a great one, but i had submitted an undertaking that i would be taking care of all her expenses...from her air tickets to the boarding and lodging.
I had uploaded scanned copies, based on the checklist that was generated automatically when i opted for online application :


Invitation / financial support Undertaking
Her Job certificate
Medical certificate (she had one from her spousal sponsorship)
Travel Iteniary
My Bank statement
My Job certificate
Her passport
Her Picture
Sponsorship application form

No harm in applying for CAIPS. I ordered them 3 times when I sponsored my wife.

On 24th oct and trasfered to chc islamabad on 8th jan, since that day my application
Status is medical result recieved,, i just wanna know what is going on , and when will i recive paper fronm

I send rukhsati proofs to islamabad via DHL as per aor recived that my wife file is in islamabad then i find out my file is in ottawa send email to ottawa they reply scan documents and send via email i did reply them and asked that i have already submitted rukhsati proofs to islamabad got reply from ottawa dont send any documents to islamabad they will send back to us .so now i have rukhsati proofs to ottawa via email .

So my file is indeed in Ottawa!! Don't know whether it's a good or a bad thing but anyhow at least I got to know the whereabouts abt my file! Shukar Alhamdulilah!

Now the thing is that I've sent a letter to chc guys abt updating my mailing address. N I checked through tcs tracking...the letter was received by Danish. So should I let it be n hope that they must've updated my mailing address or should I send the same letter to Ottawa guys too? I'm still not able to check on Ecas through my application number....hence can't check if they have updated it or not
