That is quite normal. CHC takes awhile to complete the sponsorship process.

As my earlier post indicates sponsoring my wife from Afghanistan, approved in July,16/2012 but I haven't heard anything new since. CAN someone help me on how I can send a "GCM" to see where my file stands, Please any help would be appreciated!

You can always apply for visit visa. Just try to prove strong relations to your country of origin. (Proving that you will return upon expiration of time).

hi.
my husband applied for me as at 15th feb 2013. we got the answer at april 12 asking for additional family info my genuine signatures, n two forms frm my husband and asked for my medical report..
i have also recieved my uci no. and my file no.
we have to submit all these forms by 31st may 2013. somebody pls help. i want to know wts going on.

Looks like CIC ISB is processing pretty fast, but what about all 2012 file transferred cases. I do not what Ottawa is doing what's their plan is... getting annoyed errrrr

same here...God knows wat Ottawa is planning to do but watever they are doing is seriously not even funny.....we both share sumwhat same timeline....did u get any letter after AOR??
May Allah help us as makes this process easier for us...Ameen

I was really hoping i will stay away from here and come back to see some good news ..but its getting more drepessing. Jan & feb applicants still waiting...oh dear

An indian co-worker of mine got married in december 2012 and applied in January 2013 and already gotten a passport request, whereas i dont even know where my file is :s

I guess we're getting punished for being pakistanis....longs waiting times..high calling card rates...high TPR refusal rates.....whats next...

and our pakistani foreign office does absolute nothing to support pakistanis abroad...YA Allah help us..
