Don't trust what is written on ecas. It is rarely updated and at times info is shown wrong.

salam guys, im about to file my immigration but my graduation degree was lost so I contacted PU and they told me it will take 3 months to get a duplicate degree, so my inlaws asked me to write on a stamp paper( legal document) stating that I have done my graduation from this college and I authorize cic to take my degree from PU, I told them that if I write it and give it with the immigration file it will delay my process and cic will definatly look into this, and they will ask for degree and could delay my process for at least 3-4 months..im very much scared about this stamp paper thing, I know that even if I file my immigration on Fsc they will accept it as in spousal case education has not much weight, so suggest me what to do?

Yes, I feel your disappointment. Best option now is call the call center and explain in detail. That they forgot to transfer your file and that you contacted your mp. Make sure you, tell them that your file is "very late" and losing these many months is unacceptable. Tell them to send a note with your file transfer to ISB, which will allow you to avoid the queue. It happened to me aswell. I talked to them and they said they will transfer my file asap with a note stating not to keep it in queue...

I'm also a Feb 2012 applicant and May transfer. Just 2 days my husband found out via MP office that our file has not been transferred. This is so disappointing. Please let me know who you contacted and who committed to get your file transferred. I will be really grateful if you guide me on how to keep a check on my file.

No, Medicals received doesn't mean your file is in ISB. Ecas is computerized at times they write it and at times they don't. I remember in my ecas it said "medicals received" but my file was never transfered. Proves that there is no validity with ecas....

but don't you think if it says medicals received then the file should be in Islamabad because then what are they attaching the medicals too? I will wait until january and then start torturing them.

I wish I could go soon to see my wife as well....I am running out of excuses to give to my boss I have been there twice in 2012 already so now I have to wait for my regularly scheduled 2013 vacation. I hate this waiting game!! I never had to wait for anything so desperately for so long!

Hi dear forum members my question is that if someone is on maternity leaves can't she still live outside of canada more than 3 weeks/ 3 months while she is on PR but entitled to have one year maternity leave. And have a letter/EOR stating that she is on maternity leave for 1 year.
Plz tell if some one has the same case or have any information about it because really its very hard to live without husband. Lots of good moments which we couldn't share just because of this immigration rule

why dont the husband apply for visiting visa?? i mean this can b a reason for applying temporary resident visa..

Because for cic its not a big thing that u r pragnent unki nazer main yahan per bohat si single mothers hain jo manage kerti hain. So i am planning to visit pakistan after the arrival my baby in Januaray any time in the last 4/5 months of 2013

the sad part is that its not about managing .. manage toh her koi kar leta hai its just sad cuz unkee nazar main emotions kee value nahi hai .. its about living away from your spouse when you are going thru the most special part of your life and missing all the memories etc. its just tooooooo sad!

Yes u r right they don't have emotions.ik tu process itna lamba ker diya hay aur phir oper say fazool ki dosari conditions like visit nahi ker saktay aur ager kerna hay tu 3/4 weeks ka wagera wagera. Ub itnay short time ka kiya pata chalta hay parties main hi itna time sirf ho jata haay aur phir anay janay ka itna khercha.

I so agree with you! sab se milnay main hee time nikal jaata hai you can't really spend time together it makes me so mad! aur nahi toh visit visa hee allow akr dain per woh bhee nahi .. aur uss msin PR ke delay hone ke chances hain as per my lawyer so I don't want to take that risk.
