I am super confused. I paid the $550 but the lawyer never asked for the additional $75 and $490. Whats the best thing to do ?

they prob meant its in process to isl...??? or that its in process ie. waiting its due time before getting touched...??? good God everything is so vague with these immigration folks... they dont clearly tell you anything... lets see what response i get...

I don't know what they really "meant". However, agent did tell me that file is in process and that they are performing background and medical checks (who knows....)

Ok I am a little confused about this whole Ottawa thing! Does anyone know when did they initialize this project? The reason I ask this is because I applied in jan 2012 and went for my rukhsati in March and when I came back I voluntarily sent a “massive” package with pics, tickets etc... to CIC-I. I never heard from them in regards to receiving it or not, should I assume my file went to Islamabad or ask them?

Question is when was your file transfered to ISB?

she is probably flying on the plane for the first time in her life and is looking for a female friend to g with her..which is okay.

and Canadian555, if you are not comfortable in sitting with a guy for next 16 hours on a flying plane, sweety you can always ask the flight attendants for seats exchange and just let them know if you want to sit with a female.. i am sure PIA flight attendants can arrange this for you and during the flight you don't have to really fill out any applications or anything.. just sit on you seat, watch tv, listen to music, pray, sleep and be happy and you will be in Canada in no time..

check with them.. call the Mississauga call centro and let them know that you have sent in some voluntary info and want to know if your visa office is still isb you may need to send the same info to Ottawa. not sure.
nobody here can give you a perfect answer esp regarding this new confusing Ottawa office thing.
you would have to call them up.

LOL, it is not about next guy, I know that i can ask someone to replace the seats. It is not problem. I just worry if I lost the direction in the airport, yes first time ride to Canada woh I might get confused when arriving in Toronto airport, I know sign boards or directions etc but still. My husband unfortunately couldn't come to Pakistan, I think it is possible chance if someone or anyone with visa approval come to Canada same flight with me, just let me know.

Dear All;

First I would like to inform you that All Mighty GOD gave us a baby girl; which is priceless gift in this world.She is along with her mother at Canada.

Secondly I would like to ask that how I will inform the immigration office as I don't know where is my file laying in Islamabad or Ottawa office.As I got approval letter from CIC-M on 4th July,2012 that my file has been approved and transfered to CIC-Islamabad.But most members on this forum are telling that applicants who applied in May,2012 and onwards files are in Ottawa pilot project office.I am confused now that which office I have to inform this proof of genuine relationship???Kindly advise me that what I have to do?
