LOL, it is not about next guy, I know that i can ask someone to replace the seats. It is not problem. I just worry if I lost the direction in the airport, yes first time ride to Canada woh I might get confused when arriving in Toronto airport, I know sign boards or directions etc but still. My husband unfortunately couldn't come to Pakistan, I think it is possible chance if someone or anyone with visa approval come to Canada same flight with me, just let me know.

For those who got their files transferred to CPP-O, did they hear anything yet from CPP-O?

Any ideas how fast are they in issuing AOR and other requests?

You would call the CIC call center and ask the agent. My file got transferred yesterday and was already informed by the CIC agent thats its going to Ottowa,

is there a difference between the approval receiving date and transfer of file date ? i thought the day we receive our approval from mississauga is the same day our file gets transferred ? how does one find out the transfer date if it differs from the approval date ?

from what i know and various attempts of the same, i can conclude that you won't know about the receiving of your package until you get approval from CPC-M (Ottawa) - i.e. 60+ days.

Munir. you wouldnt be able to find anythign about it until you get the first AOR mail from them. I got mine in 38 days time. I know of some people who got it earlier and some people who had to wait 70 days to get it.

yasir the only concern i have when i submit my package was mistakenly reached to station b it was canada post mistake i did send through express post the address i put was

L5A 4N6 also i did request to have a signature upon reciving when i track it with tracking no there were no signature i called canada post for that they told me my package was recivied on station b with no signature upon requesting canada post issue me a ticket no and then they followup in 2 days time a lady called me and send me a signature copy that my package has beed deliverd .

Munir. I would say try giving them a call and explain the issue. But most likely the application is sitting in queue to be opened. They wouldn't know anything until someone actually opens the post.

then after at the end of june 2012 this i got another letter from CHC islamabad title is "Acknowledgement of receipt of application".
now the ppl in CHC islamabad they are sleeping

babbi. this is weird.. looks like they aren't going in sequence. I filed on 17th June 2012, got AOR on 23rd September 2012 and got approval of sponsorship and letter stating that the file is transferred to Islamabad on 4th September. All that in 49 days. Mine was sponsorship for a dependent child though

I wonder what happens next :d

i am very confused with cic after 2 days of struggling i finally spoke to an agent from cic call centre to ask if my file is in isb or ottawa. MY file was approved by Mississauga on 29 may 2012 and i received a letter that file was transfered to isb but isb has not sent me any acknowledgement letter. the agent on fone was a bit rude and was hesitating to tell me clearly, i told agent i wana send voluntarily some additional proofs so i wana know whether isb or ottawa has my file, but she said that if noone is asking you for additional proofs then why r u sending them, don't sent. then i asked her tel me clearly that which is my VO she said if you received letter from Mississauga that file was transfered to isb then it means its isb. Now i am really confused. I feel that when i submitted my application i didnt submit much proofs of contact + i wana send them an explication that why my walima didnt take place though its a full marriage. i need suggestions please

This is weird. Cuz my application got transferred yesterday and the CIC already told me it was in Ottawa. Maybe, she had no clue what she was saying? I have no idea!!!!

i was actually really confused too i didnt know where my file was one agent said ottawa
so i just emailed Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa to confirm on aug6,2012 and today i received response
from them saying
Good day,

Your file is being assessed in Ottawa (address below).

so finally i know for sure its in ottawa ..
