How did you check your Application Status online before getting your approval letter?

through my client id #.

How Come did you have your client id? see I applied in April I did not get my approval letter yet so you think can I check my Application Status on ecas with client id before getting approved?
I have been told when called CIC today that try checking your ecas through your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) number Starts with a W and followed by 9 numbers.
Plz update your timeline on the lower left hand side under your name thingy Thanks!

hey everyone
i hav a question am so confused and cic call centre is no help most of the time they wont even take calls
so my application was rec on feb23 n sent me letter on may23 as per thier websit which i never got but i was able to get into their website with my landing #
i called thier call centre asked if letter can be emailed again girl was plain rude said no it cant be resent she said it was approved n was sent to ottawa i said oh so after its going to islamabas she said no they are randomly choosing file sending some to isl and some to ottawa ..ottawa will do what islamabad would have done is that true anyone else in same situation ??

Hi Farakh,
we both have almost the same submission dates. I just checked online on e-cas with my :
1.Client-ID
2.Confirmation of Permanent Residence number (IMM 5292 - Example: T100000000)
3.Permanent Resident Card number (Example: PA0123456)

Don't have a Landing document (wondering why not though)

anyhow, none of the above three return any result for me. Probably the status only gets updated once the email/letter has been sent.

Client Id # works. Use it to log in and you will see either application recieved or decision made.

I was checking mine before I got approved on June 21- and it kept saying application recieved. Now it says Decision made.

That is strange- sending some to Ottawa? Does she mean your case will be processed in Ottawa instead of Islamabad Anyway I sent my application to CIC Missaussaga but recieved lapproval etter from CIC Ottawa. Maybe she was referring to that?

The dummy meant that due to overload in mississauga, they sent it to ottawa for processing... Once u are approved there as a Sponsor, it only goes to ISL from there.

From wat I make of ur reply is that, u have been approved as a sponsor already through ottawa.. They only send email to let u know, even if it says a letter will be followed.

If u have ur case id, ie uci and application number then u r good, if not go through the email accnt look all over to locate the email, or call again and another agent of theirs will help u out, be polite and explain ur situation.

or maybe they just dont update medical seperately at all....does your say medical recieved...??

They do.... In sense that...its a hint.... 2 things will happen.... And u just want to know ur file got there....

When they get ur file there they get a digital copy of the medicals from New Delhi and add it to ur application package.

So if on ur ecase it says application recieved, great they got it + medical is gona be in there too auto.

Or

We have recieved ur medicals... This doesnt say we got ur app pkg but is a hint that they did or they wouldnt have recieved ur medical ;-)
