I noticed from your timeline that you applied after I did for my husband. Did you do anything special like sending voluntary information or involving MP. What type of work does your husband do? Although, I am divided on whether the husband's occupation impacts the application processing. Did you involve a lawyer?
I can't wait to see my husband landing in Canada and we stop communication through Facetime & Skype.

I did not send them any voluntary information and did not involve any MP. Whatever I sent them with the application that was all I sent. Although I did visit my husband twice after four months and every time I stayed there for four months. My husband is a student and so am I. When I recieved the confirmation of my file transfered to ISB, CIC mentioned that do not contact us unless your status changes or you have addition to your family etc if you are under the normal processing time. It was also written that we will contact you if we need additional information from you. That's why I did not involve MP's and did not send them additional information.
I did my application and answered all the questions to the point. One of my friend applied for her husband after two weeks through a lawyer and her husband didn't recieve anything yet not even re-medical. When I sent my application, I said to Allah that I have done my best and now You do whatever is best for both of us.
I don't think the occupation matters, just leave it on Allah and not worry about it all. Have strong faith on Him and InshaAllah you will hear good news soon.

We also received the originial Re PCC back this week which they asked for in June 2013 along with the remedical. On the top of the RePCC, it says scanned to immigration officer with his/her code on it and that its' uploaded on the GCMS storage. It says all this with a pen, and so I'm pretty sure they scanned you PCC and sent it to the proper person and sent you back the original as they don't need it anymore. Insha'ALLAH this means PPR is next!

I have just received back my Original Re PCC from CHC Islamabad, even it is valid and also their is no mistake in it. They have not sent any reason. Can any one have the same situation? Because I sent my Re PCC in May 2013 as per their requirements.

Medical was requested November 2012

since than nothing
