Hey guys, I was wondering if you could tell me whether a change in address requires the principal applicant's signature even if she has an authorized representative?
I (her authorized rep.) made a mistake on change of address on E-CAS and right now its showing both mailing and home address for my wife as mines. Just want to have Islamabad fix her home address ... mailing address will still be mine as I'm her rep. I emailed CPP-Ottawa but they said only Islamabad can do it.
Thanks!
If you (the sponsor) or (the Permanent residency applicant) would like CHC-Islamabad to make a change of his/her mailing address on your application, you must submit your address with an originally signature request. CHC-I do not accept new contact information by email; as to ensure the security of your documents and personal information.
You can either sent the request by fax No: (92-51) 208-6913 & 208-6914 or mail them to: Islamabad High commission of Canada, visa section, PO box 1042, Islamabad 44000, Pakistan with the following information:
•your original request to change your mailing address,
•the full name of the sponsor or the applicant and his/her original signature,
•the sponsor's or the applicant's date of birth,
•the file number [letter followed by a nine-digit number],
•telephone number, including area code,
•the mailing address, and
•E-mail address
Change of address notifications for applications at visa offices must always be submitted directly to the visa office processing the application.
Hope it helps.
