My question is for a full year for my application will they count from Sept 7 or Oct 17.
BUT STILL SHE DIDN'T GOT ANY LETTER FROM THEM YET.

My brother applied for his spouse in June last year, file was transferred to Pakistan in August 2012 and now his spouse has got letter to resubmit the meds and passports and that visa is ready to be issues. To me it is very fast considering 29 months timeline. He is over the moon. Good luck to all waiters.

congrats.. I have similar timeline. Was her file in islamabad or ottawa and did she receive letter through tcs or regular pakistan post?

Sponsoring my wife, just received physical mail in Pakistan for further proofs validating the relationship. I have not received a copy of it so I am unable to provide specifics, but i guess any news is good news at this point.

Any insight someone can provide from experiences will be greatly appreciated.

Khilafah bro, I wanted to clarify something from senior members and anyone else who can assist. Alhamdulillah have received remedical request. Just to clarify though, do we need to book an appointment for chest x-ray and lab tests separately or is that all part of the medical appointment we book with the doctor. Also, I'm guessing that the physician who does the medical examinations forwards the results to CIC, and we just keep a copy, is that correct? Should we obtain a tracking # from the doctor or will he give us the # himself?

Asalaam Amlikum,

Yes you can, as i sent mine after 11 months without there request and recently i recieved remidecal via e-mail on May 25/2013 and It does help your process more faster as everything will be attached to your file and they don't have to go through sending or asking for more documents by checking your file they know you have updated your file and they will move to the next step which either interview que or medical/re-medical depending on your file. hope this helps. I am a January 2012 applicant and AOR on April 2012 and Re-medical on May 2013. Inshallah allah willing i pray that all of us are togather with our wives/husbands........ Inshallah

My application was also submitted in January 2012, and AOR on Apr 2012, and Re-med on May 2013.. Can u tell me now how much time will get for PPR or what is the next step?
