I have a question. I got my visa on the spot. I checked ecase it still says application received. Why is that so?? Isnt it suppose to change?

aoa. Don't worry this is normal because some visa officer did not update the file on line but finalize the case, so congratulations and best of luck . Naveed

aoa, both services are good but you can use as you like some people says that vac is more safe service but it is expensive then tcs. All the best. Naveed

Those who went for interview and got "Visa On the Spot"
Just want clarification for "Visa On the Spot" mean. during interview do they verbally approved that you have cleared the interview and will send you passport request or took the passport and gave back at the end of day with visa and landing paper.

At the end of the interview they said they are satisfied, and then check if the medical n PCC is updated. Then they take the passport and ask us to wait in the waiting room. Stamp the visa n give back the passport there n then.

On the spot means after interview they said they approved your application and checks for medical if it is uploaded or not.if it is uploaded on their site.they will print visa on your passport.they give visa in one hour.

Nothing to get worried about.
This will be updated by CBSA when you arrive/land in Canada.

After that it will be changed to "Complete".

I have submitted original Nikah Nama in Urdu with the registry seal and the original Marriage certificate in English.
I have not submitted a translation of Nikah Nama in English.
Has anybody done like this. Did it create a problem?

if cic need translation of your urdu Nikah Nama he will require , don't worry , some vo did not require urdu Nikah Nama but some require. Depend upon vo. Best of luck. Naveed

i didn't submit english translation, thought NADRA one should be enough along with urdu NN, but in Feb LVO asked for english translation also, but I think you should just sit back & relax, if they need it they will ask for it.
