CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I work full time and try to space my trips to Pakistan every 6 months. Got married in Oct 2011. Wish it didn't take me so long to submit my appl and had it submitted sooner. I don't like my life here without my husband but I am hopeful Insha'Allah we are in store for a beautiful life once this sponsorship wait is over.

we try our best to talk through skype. you know that question in sponsorship questionnaire about how you guys stay in contact? I wrote so much that ended up using extra sheet** lol .. for me mashAllah hum ek dosre ko pal pal ki khabar detay hain thank God for skype and whatsapp.

I also went to Dubai with my hubby in August and I haven't sent in my pics/proof yet. There has not been any communication from the ISL or OTT so far (

My case,
Applied: Jan 2012
File Transferred: Apr 2012
Online status: Decision made, file transferred
Medical Expired: Oct 2012

No further communication...

I visited Dubai last month where my wife joined me from pak so I have sent updates to CIC with all the proofs but I am wondering Did any one hear back from CIC who applied in Jan/Feb/Mar 2012 time.

Hello when did your husband do his medicals? In 2011 or 2012? My wife did hers in November 2011- and I was wondering since they are now expired if that was the reason my ecas isn't showing medicals received. Basil, seems like you are in a similar situation?

He did his meds in July 2012. All this time it was just saying application received in ecas, and it just got updated on Friday to medical results have been received.

well i'm a dec 2011 applicant.....file was transfered to islamabad in jan 2012.....medical expired on 1st nov 2012.....and yeah still waiting......not even a single letter from the embassy......just praying....have nothing else to do.....i pray for all the applicants.....inshallah 2013 will prove to be the best year for all of us....ameen

no i got the email from Mississauga and now the email from islamabad that the file is in process.......alhamdullilah......i did order gcms notes and itsalmost a month now but no reply from them yet......hopefully very soon inshallah

our timeline is same... did u email Isloo about ur file ? I haven't receive anything! My hubby (sponser) got the email from Missi abt our file being transferred to Isloo...my med expired on 25th nov...noo re-med request yet ! Hopefully 2013 will be goood for us ! InshaAllah !

our timeline is same... did u email Isloo about ur file ? I haven't receive anything! My hubby (sponser) got the email from Missi abt our file being transferred to Isloo...my med expired on 25th nov...noo re-med request yet ! Hopefully 2013 will be goood for us ! InshaAllah !

well same here no re-med request till now.....hopefully we'll get the re-med request rite after christmas holidays.....i think in the first week of jan inshallah.....fingers crossed

basically in email at the end they say mississauga..but it depend on email address from which we got email..if its from ottawa then file is in ottawa if not then file is in islamabad i think so

No its not necessary i know a person personaly who received first stage approval email from mississauga saying that file has been transfered to Islamabad but actually it transfered to Ottawa. So i think it doesn't matter from where u r getting email files are being transfered to Ottawa

hi i am feb 2012 applicant, file transfer to ottawa may 2012 after that no communication. i contacted my MP in nov who told me that ottawa started reviewing my fle in october bt i didnt receive anything and my husband's medical is expiring january 17 2013.I dont even know a single case completed by ottawa for pakistanis. i sent 1 year communication proof to ottawa voluntarily in nov. everytime when i ask my representative about my case she tells me that ottawa is a new project so we dont know how long they will take and wt their procedures are, i paid 1500$ to my representative for nothing.
