Hi All,

I just received an email from CHC London for a passport request. But the email says to "submit" passport copy and an information chart before submitting the passport. I assume this i need to reply to the same email and send these as scanned copies?

Also, has anyone submitted their passport to London office through VAC? Since I am in Canada I have to submit the passport through VAC in London. Its not as simple as I would have imagined. Any guidance would be much appreciated?

Also all of you who have got PR visa (from London or Islamabad), can you please confirm that you did not gave biometrics while submitting passport? Also besides passport and the email that we just recv'd do you guys submit any other document?

I came back to this form after a while. Wanted to provide an update. My spouse's wait is over and she is living here with me now.

Few updates:
My spouse was visiting me here in Canada on a Visit visa when she received a passport request. I emailed CIC and requested if I could send the passport from Canada to UK and once they grant visa she will exit Canada to US and return for her permanent residency process.

They accepted my request and I sent her passport to UK from Canada and they send the passport back with the PR visa. We crossed the border and the process was completed.

However keep in mind it is illegal to send passport out of Pakistan by mail but not illegal to send passport out of Canada. Therefore I was able to do this.

With the ppr, they asked for eye colour, height and dob and things like that. nothing else

I was only informed of interview in June thru an email inquiry from LVO.
What should I do
IT has been almost close to 31 months since the time file was send over to Islamabad.

does it indicate anything justifying the interview? if so, send proofs to erase their suspicions
unless they've issued the date... hmm not sure.

this is the time to send any proofs they are suspicious about. what do they discuss in the notes? whatever it is, you should send additionals to prove them wrong

They have send an information chart which asks for details that you mentioned. SO i guess i can send those along with the passport. Thanks.

You should order Notes from CIC website. Here is the link

Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah just received email that the process for my husband is done. They requested his Pass Port that they already have and wanted the Pass Port LOL.

I thank Allah a million times as in 11 days it would have been exactly 4 years we have been waiting its like all the tension and stress has left my body, its an amazing feeling.

We already contacted them to say you have all this info in our file with Pass Port, photos and height and weight.
I'm still in shock but I had this feeling today and now just must wait till they put the Visa in but at least now we know there is an end in sight In Sha Allah.

I pray you all get good news soon In Sha Allah and thank you all for all your prayers May Allah reward you all well In Sha Allah............
