I also applied in July 2013. My file was transferred to London on Januray 28, 2014. Yours might have been transferred to London around the same time. One thing is for sure that your file is in London.

Good nothing like getting ahead of them. I have kept so many screen shots of their errors in the last 43 months. Our relationship is Genuine as the Visa Officer said, but it was an idiot who wrote different things and the Lawyer who made mistakes not us. I told them its you who hold us as hostages its frightening what they are doing to law abiding citizens in Canada as well as Pakistan. I pray it works out for all only Allah knows better In Sha Allah.....

You never attest any original document [photocopies for sure]. All you need to do is make sure it is in English, if not, get it translated and then get that translation attested. You will need to send both docs: original Nikah nama [urdu version] and the attested translation.
There are many small agencies that can do your translation and attestation in one go. If you are in ISB, PM me I can give you the info from where I got everything done.

Though some people may differ and argue why but I also sent the NADRA registration certificate based on advice of a friend. It does not hurt to send additional documents but may save from an unnecessary delay if CHC asks for something which was not originally submitted.

Filed transferred on Feb 24, 2014. Not yet contacted by LVO except for replying to my query regarding the location of the file.

Very good point,I was asked to get the NADRA family cert as well and to be honest that was the easiest document to get from all the others [pcc etc] If I am not mistaken that is the only computerized record of your marriage.

CHC London just received my Passport Copy. Now let's see how long it will take Islamabad to request my original passport for the visa issuance. I am hoping within a week!

i have somewat the same timeline as urs....i emailed them my passport copy which they also acknowleged and yesterday courier them the same coy...incase they say dat they never recieved the email....i'm also hoping dat within two weeks we get to hear sumthing from them inshallah.....

thanks ... even I think it shouldn't be a problem because getting fbi clearance from USA is not so easy but lets see what shamail has to say as he has been thru this process so he must have good knowledge about it !

Sorry for being late in replying as I was quite busy in my studies.
Alright, the first step to obtain the FBI Clearance Report is to visit their website and follow the given links,

take 4 to 5 prints of the "Finger Prints Form" and fill the required fields with accurate data, paste the pictures and
make the forms ready. Take the forms to the local "Central Jail" and tell them that you need to get the "Finger Prints Forms" filled with all the fingers + thumbs impressions and when you are reached to the concerned person, tell him whole the story and you want to apply for immigration that's why you want to get those forms filled.
He will apply the ink with some "Ruler" on all his fungers and will leave the impressions on all those 5 forms.
Ask that guy to provide you with the "Finger Prints Card" as well because that card is the printed version by "Government of Pakistan" and it seems quite an authentic material for FBI guys.
He will take your brother's finger prints on all those forms + FP Card and will send to the "Security Branch" (the same place where you get the PCC from). Those guys in Security Branch will then attest those forms and the DPO (District Police Officer) will sign the same forms + FP Card.
Mean while, ask your brother to get the bank draft worth 18 USD.
When you get the forms back from Central Jails guys, attach all the required docs as required by FBI's Website and send them to:
FBI CJIS Division – Summary Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306,
USA
You will get your Criminal And Background check report within 6 working weeks and that will be in Sky blue color and comprises of aroung 6 pages with a large FBI Logo with Stamp on the Home Page.

Its gonna be 18th month on May 15th since the case is filed

OUR TIMELINE IS SAME BUT MY FILE WAS TRANSFERED IN AUG 2013 AND AT THE SAME TIME THEY SENT OUR ORIGINALS TO ME AT MY HOME IN CANADA.
DID THEY SENT U THE ORIGINALS ALSO.
