Did you send your passport with prepaid return envelope (as required by CIC in PPR) or you through normal courier?

I had the same confusion when it was my wife's turn to send in her PP. i think on the letter they state prepaid return envelope, but TCS in pakistan does not do that. Here in canada you can get those from UPS or FEDEX, but not in pakistan. all TCS will give you is a pre-ADDRESSED return envelope. this will allow you to fill in your address on it so that there are no errors from CHCs part when they are ready to send it back. the actual delivery will be COD (charge on delivery), so you will need to have the cash to give to the courrier when he calls to advise you the cost. it cost my wife in karachi about Rs.200 per delivery, plus we used to give the guy a tip so that he brings any future letters even faster.

we found out later on that the address that was entered in mississauga as my wife's address in pakistan was incomplete in the GCMS system. the addresses in pakistan aren't as clear cut as those in canada, so the person here filled it in as if it was, and after letter's being returned to the embassy due to them being undelivered, they noticed the difference between the paper files that we had sent, and that in their system. by that time, we had already sent them a few pre-addressed TCS envelopes to use to avoid any such delays.

The only delay was because file was in interview queue and Interview also passed without any objection.
As per the latest updates CHC-ISB has not received medical results from New Delhi.

Sheesh!! I've heard of this medical result mishap. I seriously hope you get your passport soon InshaAllah. Keep us updated.

Hi, I have a question for you, I see that you applied in October 2011, I applied in November 2011, I got my file transferred apparently to Islamabad, but then found out it is actually in CPP Ottawa but never had any passport requested still (although copies were sent with the application itself, they yet did not request my husband's physical passport) do you know if yours is in Islamabad or CPP Ottawa? I'm so worried, my process seems to have halted

Also, anyone know who is in charge of the Spreadsheet? I would like to be added to it.

My file is in Islamabad for sure. So you mean to say that they haven't even asked for AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). I strongly suggest you get in touch with your MP and order GCMS notes! At this point you deserve to be informed about what is going on.

I would like to know how did the waive your husband's interview? what did you have to show for that ? how do they let you know that interview was waived? please share

i ordered GCMS notes and i got to know that my hubby's interview was waived... i applied 6 months after wedding so we already had lots of proofs but then we did reception last year and provided them with additional proofs of relationship....
i ordered GCMS last year in septmeber i guess.

I was just assuming about her and in advance replied to her the solution i think that works if I was wrong in assuming that mujgani will for sure correct me, many readers here would agree with me that there is scarcity of couples in long distance relationship with no problems, arguments or fights, meaning even friends have arguments and result of those arguments are sometimes fights when they both are not able to communicate their point correctly to each other and it is normal, but that's just temporary, and if both parties want to heal things and solve problems and they genuinely try than at the end of the day it is all well, you have the right to disagree with everything I said, but that is what I think and respect your point of view,

I agree! distance in the relationship is the reason for misunderstandings and arguments between couples.

It is not like that they have lost the medical result for normal medical processing it takes 6 to 7 months.
If medicals are marked urgent then they process those medicals in less then 2 months.
Time when me and other members had interview our medical letters were not marked urgent so ND office is taking their sweet time in finalizing the result.

I send my passport through normal TCS courier. My status changed to Decision Made on 17/03/2013 but I still not received back my passport.

just courier your PP....
they will charge you when deliver the PP back to you (COD) there is no prepaid enevelope concept in TCS

1. Does CHC always ask for Re-PCC in wife cases?
2. If Re-PCC + PPR is clubbed together, how long do they usually provide to fulfill the requirements?

they dont necessarily ask for Re-PCC...
45 days for PCC and 15 days for for PP

Can any one guide me who already given medical test that what kind of test will be taken and is dependent will go under medical test?

blood test/ chest x-ray/ urine test... and yes dependent will have to appear for medical... but for the kids no blood test.. i am not sure about the age though

Hey guys me and my brother both sponsored our wives in June and July in 2012.. at begging on CHC website for both our status was "Decision made".. but, now mine changed to "in process" while his is the same "decision made". So what is going on here? should i be worried or should he? or we both good?

hi,

Decision made status must be for your part.. when you submitted your application to CPC mississauga and it was approved and sent to ISB they updated the status to decision made for the part where they approved your eligibility to sponsor your spouse... this status would be under your ecase status (when you log in using your info)
but when it changed to in process thats mean Islamabad has started working on your file(when you log in using your wife's info)... please confirm how are you logging into ecase? using your info or your wife's info?
