How do u calculate timeline? Since the application filed or since file transfer to VO??

hello everyone plz reply if you can guide me with this ....my husband applied for my kids citizenship certificate back in 2011 as they are canadian citizens born outside canada .now my husband got a letter saying that they need DNA test of my children .or else we have to apply from pakistan ..applying from paksiatn means again 12 to 14 months in getting their process done ...what should i do ??? as i ahve already got my ppr ..i was waiting for my children s canadian passport so that they can travel with me ..but now its all confusion again if i want to get their dna test done from canada how can they travel with me ?? i have ehars that there is no tavelling documents for children above 2 years of age ..what should i do in this senario plz help i m very upset what are the ways in which they can travel with me when i ll get my visa stamped inshallah ..on their pakistani passports ? and what is facilitation visa how to get it ?

We had an exactly same case as yours. Now I'll list all the steps, read it carefully and it will help you.

1. Contact Genetrack laboratory as it as accredited with the embassy. Plus they responds very quickly. (Google it as I am not supposed to post the link over here, just write Genetrack lab on google and link will appear)
2. Call them and book an appointment.
3. As soon an appointment has been taken, they'll call up your wife for DNA test in Canada, they have the laboratory there.
4. When she'll give her saliva test then the laboratory will send the DNA kit to Canadian embassy in Islamabad and then Embassy will call you and will ask you to come an give your saliva test in the embassy in Islamabad.
5. Once this process is over. Embassy will send it to the laboratory in Canada for test and matching it with your wife.
6. Laboratory will then send the report to Embassy and one copy of that report will be sent to your wife as well in Canada.
7. Once everything is done, embassy will proceed in your case.
8. NOTE : DNA will be conducted for all family members. You, your wife and your two children. So when taking an appointment do tell the laboratory about it and also email them letter which you people got from embassy. Laboratory will then guide you each and every step.

guyz plz help ...me getting to nervous how to fill passport form ? they have asked abt dependent children as i have mentioned above my children are canadian citizen born outside canada and their proof of citizenship ahd already been requested,,should i mention them in the form or not ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? because they have asked for children passport too ???? should i apply for their facilitation visa or temporary passport and send it with my passport ???????or its not needed plzz help

Hi no need to do that mine is the same case as you but i had asked a number of people and they send me the same info that wait for your children passport and once you get your passport back with visa write to consular services CHC- ISL for your kids passports showing the intent to move to canada by a copy of your visa and saying that they have to travel with you (if by that time passports had not come back) ...no need to worry abt your children as they are by birth canadian citizens......
