i disagree... there have been a number of ppl on dis forum who have had the interview waived off because of additional documents tht proved their relationship is geniune...its neva bad to send more proof.

I agree with this, but you have to be careful not to "spam" your VO, lol. I would suggest sending one communique with updated proofs, somewhere near 15-20month mark after your AOR, and not multiple proofs every month or something. the 26 month timeline is a real average, so expect your file to come up around that time, and thus help them come to the conclusion that this isn't a MOC when they first look at it.

for my spouse's case, the updated docs request (for the ones with the barcodes) came around the 14th month mark, and then around the 16th month e-cas showed in process, and the whole process took us 23 months.

Although every case is different but you are giving me a hope that i might hear something very soon because for my case it's going to be almost 16 months and my husband did re-med already so the next step is I assume pcc and ppr i hope to get them both very soon!!! Thanks for sharing

Nope. There was no urgent written on that letter.

guys i have a quest... it almost 16 month since my file is gona and almost 2 years since i have not gone back and did not visit my hubby could that be and issue ?

i agree too dont "spam" ur VO....not every month tht would be like trying too hard but like after a reasonable time period

NO they didnt ask its been one yr ihv submitted additioal proffs , i hv jus sent my hubby visit proff boarding passes n visa entry exit stamps pages ...recvd by AHMED REC in embassy so im confuse with this name so im going to email them ...so nedd embassy email add if u can help me

its good for those ppl who are in interview que because of less proofs sanded when they filled the application. but those people whos cases are very near to be done and they are sending more proofs the VO may put your file in a review que to further investigate your proofs.

The VO is sited in the embassy for tight verfication and trying to find The reason to refuse your application. soo dont try to be oversmart.

Send much proofs when you are applying and those ppls whoes cases are in the final stages dont send anything until requested.

u r contradicting urself...umme hani is in interview que so he/she CAN send additional documents (as u have mentioned above)...umme hani as per earlier post is NOT in their final stage..not stated neway.

Dear i didnt read her previous post in which they told me that they are in an interview que but didnot received interview call.

i read the her timeline she applied in Jan 2011 and 24th month is going on. At this stage a normal case at last stages...

my qusetion is this my wife holds canadian passport and she is with me right now in Pakistan , can she asks CHC-I personally for my passport return and if yes

how she can asks and to whom she should asks , or by telephonic or by mail.

Please reply asap.

i read on this forum tht one member (sponsor) sent his itinerary of returning to Canada and requested for spouse's passport return with visa and CHC send the passport back so tht both husband and wife could travel together....so tht could work in ur favour!!...i will try n find out who it was

i submit my passport one 26 jan ,2013 i have question,1- when my passport is com back from CHC,2- my passport is form Afghanistan and i am living in Pakistan since 2010 and also i got my passport from Afghan embassy in Karachi now when i am going to Canada how can i exist my passport my question is that i meed Pakistan transit visa or not if i need visa how can i get it please answer me.
