CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Salam All,

So my husband received a PPR on Dec 14 and sent his passport on Dec 17. Yesterday our status on CIC changed from In Process to Decision Made and it also says that "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Anybody got this one yet? We are not really sure what is this suppose to mean??
Please advise...Thanks

p.s. filed in Feb 2011, remed in May 2012 and then PPR on Dec 14.

why would the officer need to contact my hubby when they already have his passport?? OR is this just the way they update the statuses???

Congrats u just passed last ladder and now buy ur ticket and start packing , u will get ur passport with visa within a week in sh allah.

Let me explain the situation , decision made means they have stamped visa on ur hubby's passport and he will get passport with other papers.
so ask ur husband to start packing and u must also prepare to welcome ur husband in canada .

Mashallah Congratulations to both of you for getting a call from CHC Islamabad. Did you guys get a call from 051-2086 ? My wife also got a call but she missed the call she called back but no one answered what should we do now?
If they call and ask for passport, how lo g does it take to get the passport back?

don't worry if she missed it. They will call again the next day. But ask her to make sure she doesn't miss it again.

That's strange that they're calling him again. How long have they had the passport. They might've been calling to confirm the canadian address for the landing papers.

omg omg omg omg omg I'm really happy everyone today it was 7am my morning Canada time and my husband called me and told me that someone from embassy called and asked for his passport request and also since my husband lives in Afghanistan they said that it will take long time if we send letter it's better if u send us ur passport with valid Pakistani address and 4 passport size pics omg omg my time will be over soon hopefully soon my husband will get visa

Passport request December 24 2012

Also my status changed to in process and it says that we started processing ur application on December 21, 2012

in address section which address is there pakistani address or canadian..if its canadian then u dont need to worry

when they ask PP then no need to worry at all. just wait for PP return with visa

actually there are both...under current address its the canadian address but under mailing address its the pakistani address..

they have had the passport for a week and a half now...if they call to confirm the canadian address do you think its possible for my husband to change the address with them?? because the canadian address they have on file is the old one and I (being in canada) moved to another address 2 months ago but we didnt bother changing our address cuz it shouldnt affect anything as I dont receive any letters so we decided we will not change the address on CIC...do you guyz think its about time we should????
