Hey Bunty ! Hope u r fine which file number r u using in ecas?? Coz i hve been using the UCI number and entering his information, my husband got the UCI from cic through email stating that our application is frwded to Isloo.

Can u let me knw what's the file no format ? So that i too can try it n check whether the mailing address is of my hubby or mine

Hey Suzum!! I am doing great Alhamdulillah, what about you? Actually I check my ecas from UCI and file number both, by file number i have to enter my own info and there is status of permenant residence application only by file number, its starting with F. When I enter UCI number i have to enter my husband's info and then ecas shows the status of sponsorship application and pr application both. But by both of these numbers mailing address is same, of my husband's home in Canada :s

when i put my file number it shows my pakistani address as mailing address ..i think CIC use that address to contact applicant for PPR or remedical or any other info they required..
i heard when visa got stamped on passport after that this address changes to canadian address where they have to dilver PR card. did u try using UCI number.
CIC ecase is wired..when i use UCI number it does not show any info but when i use file number it show my case is recived

Can it cause any problem? :s im worried now.

yes it has to be our pakistani address..u applied in dec ,, did u get any response from CIC

I'm fine too! Alhamdulilah! my medical expiring tmrwwwwwww! n no news yet from Isloo for a remed or anything! But khair hy! In sha Allah i'l hear something soooooon enough next week n Basil bhai will also n u tooo! )

I did check my ecas through file number...n the mailing address is mine not of my husband! But u saying dt its showing ur husband canada's address! Well either its a mess up by cic or maybeee they have progresssed ur case n in sha Allah u might get to hear some goooood news soon!
As for updating the address...i really don't knoww...was ur husband address showing from start on premenant resd status?

I can totally understand your situation! Its been not even a month and I chexk my status with a hope that some miracle might have happened though I know its not possible and a year of my studies is still left.. Lol.. I just hope and pray that inshaaAllah inshaaAllah May Allah makes your process end soon enough in no time and you hear good news with in a month inshaaAllah!!! I hope you celebrate your new year with your hubby inshaaAllah! Aameen!! )

Cic or u...coz da mailing address shudnt be of ur husband since start..

Lol...there's an option for updating address under the shown mailing address...maybe u can update it from there..but wait karlo! Ask the senior members they will b able to guide u properly

I'm quiet bcz I HV lost hope and I'm frustrated and angry and has gone chirchirii. I'm crying and crying for so long that I'm tired now. I have checking my online status and reading forum and writing here. God knows what's written in my fate .my PHP is in Islamabad since 3 July
What shud I do. My hubby contacted the mp on 21 Nov nd he said new Delhi is not responding abt my medical results.

My medical is in the same situation,
I think i'll manage to get a copy of my medical results from IOM. I am not sure if i'll get it but i know someone there through my old job's link and told him the situation last week and he simply told me to come down...
I'll let u know if its do able...

that is because UCI number does not belong to applicant it belongs to sponsor
when using UCI number system shows the info regarding sponsor's sponsorship application.
and if you look at the bigger picture applicant's PR application is part of sponsor's sponsorship application and that is why when you use UCI number it show's status of not just one but 2 applications.

if you file has been moved to islamabad or Ottawa your sponsorship application is done and decision has been made on it and you PR application is still in process

and when using file number F0000123456789 system shows the info regarding applicants PR applicaton that application belongs to applicant and technically at this point in time that application has nothing to do with sponsorship application that has already been approved it is a different process and its between CHC islamabad and the applicant ....... in some countries they dont even give out any information regarding the PR application to anyone other then applicant ..... not even to the sponsor
