M confused...on ecas it shows decision made under the sponser part n says dat you application was received on dec 14 2011 Abd says dat a letter was sent to u on 7th feb 2012 saying ur application frwded to islamabad..do considrr delay in mailing.

Neways so under permenant residence app status it says application recieved n says your app was recieved on 14dec 2011...
So is my app still in canada or in islamabad???

No need u get confused..the same thing happend with us....it is all right..the letter which was send on 7th feburary on which they gave u file num and client id....now ur case is queue for reivew...u need to wait for few months until they start the intial review of ur case...

Hi:

This message is for only those who have done they Remeds and also sent their passports, but have not received any thing as of yet. No Status change, No email replies, No calls. kindly share ur story. As i am now getting really worried bc It has been 4 months for the passport and almost 5 months for remed.

Just contacted Mp office yesterday and they said Medical Results not received. Some say that it should not take more than 3 to 4 months since remed bc if it is then some thing is wrong. I ve emailed CHC several times but they hve not utter a word.

What should I do.

my MP told my husband tht my ROPR fees has been checked tht it was paid & he also mention tht my process is complete ....now m still waiting

let me share a sad story with all you that i saw yesterday

unlike you might think it was not in pakistan it was in canada,

yesterday i was in mississauga at dinner time ..... i went to one of the famous desi restaurants and ordered my food ..... my table was close to the service desk ..... as i was waiting for my food ..... a new immigrant pakistani sister entered the restaurant with her resume and went to service desk ..... and made the biggest mistake that almost all of us make as new immigrants and told the restaurant owner " i am a new immigrant to canada and im looking for a job ", sister looked well educated, confident and well spoken .... had she not told them she was new to canada no one would have guessed ..... well long story short they took her interview offered her job working less then part time working hours worst working time, unpaid training with $6 an hour rate after training .......... this is not just illegal, its wrong at so many different levels ....... i know if she was applying at Mcdonalds, burger king or tim hortons this would have not happened ....... like myself and many other immigrants that came to canada i am sure that sister will find her way and become successful one day .... but the question is .... how much contribution our pakistani community is going to have in her success .... or if this trend will continue and WE WILL ALL BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER ONLY TO KICK THEM WHEN THEY ARE DOWN ........ i think like all other good deeds being unfair and unpredictable starts from within our own community.

my suggestion to all newcomers is ..... i know all of you are waiting for your passport but please ask question about your options after coming to canada .... and what can you guys do before coming to canada that will help you guys after you come here ..... and every one that is already here let us please try and help our newcomer friends ...... just because we are out of that hole does not mean every one has to go through the same

Yeah its a wife case...my husband has sponsered me n we were able to see our status as soon as we got our file number...i.e from february...

Okayy...how many months did u had to wait for the intial review to get going??...i know its been only 7months but u know not getting any news is kindaa frustrating...my med gonna expire soon tooo!

Fm.jm Did they tell u that they have got ur medical results. does it show on ur status. what is ROPR /record of permanent residence fee???

Hey twinkle i emailed my mp last night he replied back saying call in our office to discuss i jsut called spoke to his assistant he told me i will be honest there wont be any update for now contact us in janauary and we will get better i dea then ... he also said updated timeline for pakistan is 28 months i dont want to trust him on that lol ...

even my MP' assistant was not willing to email them she said its too early but i forced her i said that i need to know if they got my medical results because my ecas doesn't show anything abt medical and i emailed ottawa twice and they send me same generic emails so i really convinced them that i need this info then she emailed them, so try to convince them i even told her that cic agent confirmed with me that they dont see anything abt my medical so these things convinced her... try it atleast u will get some info abt ur file

can anyone please confirm that 219 laurier street west 7TH FLOOR SECTION B ottawa ontario K1A 1L1 is good address of ottawa pilot processing centre? this address i had in the email that ottawa sent me saying that my application is in process but the address i see on website is 365 Laurie Avenue West Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1. now i am confused that did i send it to wrong address??? i see with tracking number that item delivered successfully.

any answers please???? ???

Wat about ur medical results. Have they received it. Bc u sent ur passport on 6th july and I did on the same day as well.
