CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Salam everyone, today i sent additional proofs of genuine relationship voluntarily to ottawa who is currently reviewing my file.MP confirmed with me that they have started reviewing my file. im confused that was it a good decision to send additional proofs or would it delay processing time?? i sent phone bills from jan-oct 2012, few emails. I had paid Right of PR card fees after filing my case and sent to Mississauga but just to make sure ottawa has it too i sent them as well and i also sent a copy of Quebec selection of my husband. i just read in forums that sending additional proofs during or after review might increase processing time is it true?

I dont know about Ottawa but for isb no not really
Actually its good that you sent the proof as long as it carries proof for longer then 4 months of time period

I have seen some users on this forum requesting other users to update their timeline on their profile so everyone can have a better idea about the processing times. It will also reduce the quantity of irrelevant questions including sharing timelines. If you dont feel comfortable doing that, then there is no point you should be on this forum.

march 29 2010 sent a acknowlodgement letter
may 25 2010 started processing application in islamabad
may 27 2010 sent a letter to sponser asking for additional proofs
sept 27 2012 sent a letter for interview and asking for police character certificate original marriage certificate and passport

total time 31 months

omg thats a long time .. why so long.. is this full marriage case with rukhsati and all? did ur husband receive medical request? i hope he gets the visa soon this time is a killer.

Just wondering since my ecase changed into "In process" Alhamdulillah

i know its a good sign, but jus wondering if that means i will be receiving remed or remed +ppr?
coz i dont remember properly last time people whose ecase changed to in process received remed+ppr together , n some got remed only.....

any idea would help

i just read ur comment n i just want to share my experience, my case went to in process on aug 24th n on sept 25th i got remed + ppr, then med received within a month, now waiting for pp. hope u get remed + ppr together, that shud save some time hopefully

Due to medical expiring on DEC 02,2012
She Got call from Islamabad on Oct 8th asked if she can make it before Medical expires. We said yes

PPR on Email Oct 10, 2012
Passports send Oct 11, 2012

Passport back with visa Nov 01 2012

Total time 9 month and few days

they are completing 2012 cases Already has there timeline changed is there some kind of new rule out?? what about 2011 and 2010 cases that are still stuck.
