I emailed them last year September asking to expedite the application on the grounds that my daughter is just 2 months old and my wife lives there on her own, if not then allow them to come back to Pakistan until i get visa...

and the answer as astonishing they said

“The fact that priority queues for spouses and children exist acknowledges that prolonging separation in such cases is not consistent with Canadian values, and we endeavor to process all such files to final decision as quickly as possible while remaining fair to applicants (many of whom are in similar situations) also in the queue.”

now can any one explain holding a priority application for 16 month, they are bunch of clumsy &^&$C+"%$£YR%^

I met one of Government's minister few days back!(sorry i wont name him) and it would be tough to guess, as they are more then 80 of them :P He asked me if he can do anything, i have made an appointment with him next Wednesday regarding something els, and i thought i'll give him an overview of CHC-I timeline, however i really don't think these people are capable of doing something of this scale

what would u say????

The most he/she probably can do is bring up the issue. (Thats it). Things wont change, unless minister of immigration himself puts pressure on ISB. (That won't happen)

see if you can get a minister's permit. In very special circumstances they can give a minister's permit and allow someone to travel to Canada under that. Of course you still have to go through this immigration process but at least your family can be with you in Canada.

Lol me too, just application received. But if you get GCMS notes then you'll see the real status. Mine is in process, it just doesn't show on the website.
man I just hope once they get these pics, InshAllah they'll believe our relationship is genuine and quickly issue ppr.
