Hi Everyone

Just to let u know my re-medical results have FINALLY been updated on my ecase after 68 days i.e. 2 months 7days. I've set a new record!!

my personal guess is....da update was made after my hubby contacted his mp.

congratulations disfrust i done my remed on 19th of july and it had been updated on my stauts after 70th day.May we all recevied our pp back soon inshAllah

i think vll get our pp back after 3-4 months.. cuz sumbdy on the forum wrote tht..
cuz i think they r doin security checks now after ppr :S

wow u beat my record! initially they would update statuses after 45days of doing your medical or sooner but by the looks of it now its 2 months or more

i m guessin they r finally touching files of ppl who did their re-medical in July 2012. Good luck to all of us

Sister the second one but it really doesn't matter, do everything ASAP, they only write those limits but they won't cancel such a major application over slight delays...keeping with most government standards, they won't probably close a case without a call or letter first.

Actually i am in canada on visit thats why i am worried about date as it takes 6 to 7 days to come back to pakistan.

how long does it take if CHC-I asks for ur xray again if they have ur pp already?? to issue the visa?
my cousin got remed request on friday, just for Xray

Same thing happened with me. When did your cousin submit his/her passport? How was the remed request comminicated?

they phone called her.

did they call ya for remed or just Xray?

I got a call from IOM 2 weeks ago that I had a medical appointment with them. Went I went there they said it was only an Xray. My passport has been with them for 6 weeks now, and my medical has expired last week.

In this whole scenario CHC has not contacted me at all - not on their own nor in reply to my emails.

I'm not sure what the update in ecas is going to be, since it already says 'medical results have been received' from the medical that was done initially.

So your cousin has sent her passport since july?? and after all this time they just ask for the x-ray again? when does her medical expire?

Islamabad has obviously not bothered to reply. I will probably email the Case Review Centre in a couple days, not that I expect anything from them either.

How is the MP process initiated. My wife lives with me in Pakistan, my in-laws are in Toronto - Can they ask the MP on our behalf?

Dude!

As far as i remember, you can call the hospital or medical centre directly and get an appointment for medical. You do not need to call this UAN number (111-466-472) to get an appointment. I would suggest you go there in person and get one if your having difficulties getting through the phone.

i actually managed to get thru the fone and got the apptt for the next day. alhamdulillah done with the med exam n sent PP few days ago, thnx again

I have one question
I received remedical letter from chc on 29 sep. Issue date on letter is 6 sep but envelope stamp of canadian high commission shows that envelope was dispatched on 27 september. According to letter i have to undergo medical exam within 30 days. My question is that which date i should consider?

the same thing happened to me, remed n ppr letters were dated 6th sept, but dispatched on 24th sept n i got them on 25th sept, so i got the med apptt asap n wrote them a letter plus email explaing the whole situation along with the medical receipt, hope it helps

she got her remed done in may
yes she send her pp in start of july.
they only asked for her xray.
