Well we are ahmadi too
Just get the marriage certificate from the head office.
I gave them our original marriage certificate we just have a photocopy with us
I think it said that they need the original but not sure
However we gave them our original marriage certificate

yes that what we did. i am an Ahmadi too.
we got the marriage certificate from the head office. which was really easy because my uncle works there lol and he got the it ready for us in a hour.

i didn't send them the original because that does not make sense.

wase i think they gave us two copies of the true certificated marriage certificate, i am pretty sure, my husband has a original certificate with him too.

Yaar it's not necessary... my husband never call me I always call him... but he is mostly with me on Skype ... well don't worry all b good ... pachoon ungalian barabar nahe hote.

I had to come back soon after Nikah so my hubby went to Rabwah to get the certificate maybe he has the original one then.

Regarding my case one thing i don't understand is even if it's Nikah Only case they never objected or asked for more proofs. However, it's taking forever plus caips are wierd too :S

do u guys have the verbal nikkah...like shia and sunni muslims do...

Shia: 2 maulana's reciting the nikkah...1 from groom side...1 from bride side

Sunni: 1 Maulvi reciting the nikkah for both sides...

we do our verbal nikkah in masjid.

all the men side rishte dar( bride and groom's ghar walay ) go there and a Murabi sahib will read the nikkah and then pray.

aray yar abhi only a year hua hai..

and you know you can also send them proofs like phone bills and stuff now.. so they wont ask later ???

yes but looking at all the cases here most of the people were asked for remed before 12 months of file transfer.
Now ours is a nikah only case, I wonder what will happen. They could have asked for more proofs or a complete wedding but they didnt ask for it yet. Only choice left is to wait and see..

they consider us but like you said, Allah knows whats in our hearts and whats in their minds
we pray, fast, do hajj and everything just like Muslim.

Muslims are still considers terrorists in states.. did you hear about the shooting in a sikh gurdawara? .. there were saying that the gunman thought that sikh people are also muslims.. and that's why he killer them..
