really, to what i have heard, is that once you see med received line on ur ecas, means that you are about to get ppr really soon. but in ur case it was there since sep 11

I think that's referring to the original medical that was done the first time. If you look at Khilafa's timeline, the remed was done in June, 2012.

I was a Silent Reader of dis forum & got a lot of guidance 4m it. It's been 40 days wen i sent my passport to CHC-I but there's no response 4m dan. Can anyone tell me how much more time will it take to get my passport back??? Here's my timeline...

File transferred to Islamabad: April 14, 2011
Process started: February 28, 2012
Re-Med + PPR: June 06, 2012
Re-Med done + Passport Sent: June 20, 2012
Process updated for Medical Received: July 25, 2012

I've seen dat many people of dis forum has got their passport back in last 2 weeks so Congratulations to all of them. Plzz pray 4 me as well dat i'll get my passport wid visa stamped soooon....

I've recently heard that CHC-Islamabad has been speeding up the process lately Alhamdulillah and more people are getting their visas sooner Is this true? And does anyone have any idea on when they will update the application processing time on the citizenship and immigration canada website?

Can't really say, but from the looks of it the process seems to have sped up a little; though the forum population can't really be used a representative sample.
It should update in about a couple of months - takes time to compile all that data.
