No, it won't hav any negative impact on ur case. Mine situation was d same, i.e ours is an arranged marriage & we r cousins but by the grace of Allah our decision has been made this week. So don't worry, just send them a lot of proofs & pics of ur wedding, rukhsati, valima including ur childhood...
