Thanks so much, I guess I know my little project for next week, I'll be sending via Fedex all the proof to Islamabad, what address should I be using and is there any other relevant info I would need to put on the envelope (such as client ID# etc). Thanks again for your help!

My wife's file was transfer to Chi back in Nov 3rd, I request file number from CHI by email some time first week of December.

I got response after 2 weeks by email with file number which start by F Xxxxxxxxx.

It's good idea if you write your Uci or file number back of each photos. I think it's okay to use UCI number sense you don't have file number.

I would say email CHC-I and ask them for the file number first. When you get the file number, write it on the cover letter along with the rest of proof.

I sent my case in Oct 11 and it got transferred in Dec 11. Husband case. Can you please add this in. I updated the log below but I guess another thread got continued.

Before marriage i had known my wife for 3 yeas.We have our email copies of our 3 year conversation via emails.But i am getting married very soon.I will apply for my wife 1 month after mrriage.soni will have phone bill for only 1 month at the time i send my package.If i keep sending them proof every month, will it be enough proof for communication or not...???? Or should i wait for 3-4 months bfore sponsoring so i can collect more communication proof..?? (Note: I have all our wedding proofs including pics and etc.)

If you have enough proof prior to the marriage then just send them what you have with the application. If you feel the need to send more proof of communication later on, then you can just send additional proof after 8 months of File transfer. Keep collecting the proof till the process is finished.

u will get married soon and you have ur wedding pics :-\
3 years of conversation is enough. But after marriage keep collecting for more. They ask you for recent proofs of communcation.

Applied for spousal visa in Aug 2011, file transferred to CH ISL OCT 2011. My wife received a letter mentioning that she has been approved and my file has been sent to CHC ISL. On the same letter two IDs were given: one was UCI no, and application no i.e (F0000*****).

However i can use this Application no. to check my online status, that says Application Received:We received your application for permanent residence on August 15, 2011

Q1. Can anyone tell me whether this application no. is the same as file no. or should i email CHC isl to send me my file no?
Q2. Secondly i didn't receive any letter/AOR/ or anything in Pakistan. Should i request for AOR ?
