Hey Fozi!

My wife went through the same medical centre in mid of July!

These guys usually send the medical examination to India every week in chunks, not just 1 case so i can assure you India-New Delhi had it by the end of July, 2012..

Estimated applications recieved per day by the Medical centre in Islamabad = 100 (that includes Visit visa, Student and family permanent visa applications)

can u ask for a tracking # from these IOM centres? to see when India gets the results? also, wats the diff b/w DMPs and IOMs?

Niraash - don't worry about the dates, do your re-med as soon as possible and send the passport in along with remed reciept- don't waste your time asking for an extention or contacting them. If they open your file and see the passport hasn't been recieved yet - they will give you a call and ask you and at that time you can explain it to them.

thanks for the reply, do they usually call to ask whether we got the request letters or not? by the way its quite dumb that they say if they dont get PP within 15 days they will assume we r no longer interested n file will be closed. well definitely we r more interested than u r, thats y we've been patiently waiting for 1.5-2 yrs. so silly of them

yup i done my re-medical on 20 july 2012 and doc azar did medical checkup
any update is he alive yet

did ur ecas changed to medical results received?

yes, I just chked nd no update y CHC-I does't inquire about it as it's almost 2.5 months of medical done. nd they r wondering even if the applicant did the medical? tht's wht my update from MP is

yes, u can ask for the tracking number but they don't give it right away. u have to call them after ur medical done nd chck when they send ur rsults nd then they give the number. DMPs are Designated Medical Practioner nd IOM is International Organization for Migration

hmmm asking for the VCD is definately unusual. So they called your wife and told her over the phone that they want more proof or did they send her a letter? I remember you mentioning you didn't take many pictures. If I were you I would try to get to Pakistan ASAP and take lots of pictures to send to them- God forbid you don't want to be in interview que.

got an update from wifey!!!

she got a call yesterday...they're not satisfied with the pictures want more rukhsati pictures and they even asked for a VCD of the marriage. I thought we weren't allowed to send discs...

no problem. I have seen previously people on this forum got thier PPR letter late and they did call and ask why they haven't sent the passport yet. They are idiots, don't worry about the "we will assume you are no longer interested". It's just a generic letter. They probably have a bring forward date on the file based on the letter date but probably they do they into account the postal delays. Plus yours is a re-med and PPR so they'll have to wait until they get the med results any way so they can't stamp your visa until then. Try to get medical appt ASAP and send PPR with receipt. Also if you are willing to travel to another city IOM to get re-medical done you can also call them and find out availability. The member DINO posted a list and if you look on there it says Lahore IOM, Karachi IOM.

Fozi it seems like the remed results are in a limbo - for whatever reason New Dehli has not forwarded them. But don't worry now that CHC knows your hubby did get the remed done they will get in contact with New Dehli and track down the results. A similar situation happened to a previous forum member.

They called her like someone told me earlier. She got the call on tuesday, not monday. They first asked her a few qualifying questions (date of birth, my date of birth etc.) then they asked if she sent the repcc and stuff, not sure if they asked her about remed..ill ask her about that.

But anyways they said that as per the letter they sent us with AOR, it asked us to send 15-20 pics, and we did not comply...which is true because I didn't really take many pics and some of the pics didn't have me with my wife, but her with some of my family members. So he said send us more rukhsati pictures and send us your vcd and then we will make decision.

man I can't afford to go right now...I will have to see if I even have any vacation time available from work. And then to have to pay for ticket...maybe some pics of us having sex is necessary.
