My online status is:

1 - We received your application to sponsor on 3rd December, 2011.

2 - We sent you a letter on 30th January, 2012 about the decision on your application and also application sent to CHC, Islamabad .

3 - Medical results have been received.

Status is : " Application Received "

Now still Waiting , No updates and no emails.

For re-med, they will most likely contact you (if needed). Sometimes they by-pass medicals and go for ppr (when does ur med expire?)

GCMS notes should be coming in soon 30 to 45 days average. (Probably this week).

Med' expired in Mar 2012 (i am assuming that Med's have a one year validity).

hello dear members,

i have been following each n every post of this forum for quite a while now and each day i start checking the posts hoping to see some good news from anybody.
Well I would like to share my updates today, I just received my ReMed + PPR right now, which means CHC has started working again after strike, till yesterday i thought they r still not back from Friday's strike.

I have a question from experienced members, it asks to send PP within 15 days but the date on the letter is 6th september, which means its already past 15 days now, would it be a problem? or is it 15 days of receiving the letter,? (btw it is clearly stamped on the envelope that they sent it on 24th sept 12).

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

and all the best to all the members for their visas, CHC seems to have started sending out requests so keep ur fingers crossed.

Did they send it through local post or tcs? Maybe you should email them right away about the situation, they probably won't reply but atleast you'll have documented the issue. When you send the passport, write a cover letter explaining the inconsistency in the dates.

Hi,
I am a November 2011 applicant as well. Our file was transferred to isb Jan 25 2012 so not sure if I would be a Jan or Feb transfer but anyhow we have not received anything at all as well. I had hopes that my case will be done in decent time because our application was very thorough and clear. The only thing that can make it a bit longer is my travel history because I have studied in UK and worked in the US. I have submitted Police clearance from each and every place I have ever visited and lived but no word so far from the embassy. I have the option of temporarily moving to the US because my husband who is Canadian citizen works in both countries as a consultant so he can easily move the US maintaining residence requirements of paying Canadian tax as his company is Canadian nd his mortgage but every time we think of that we start to wonder what if we get a re med request while im gone so only of the embassy would even communicate a little bit with us or keep us updated with our process life would be much easier. My career is at a full stop at the moment and everything in life is affected by this long process

email CHC I regarding ur status.. write ur file number in the subject.
also when u ve to option of moving to USA y dont u do so, atleast ul b wth ur Husband.. n when u heard from canada n ur immi is done then u can move to canada...
plus USA has cheaper cost of living.. n ul enjoy loads in USA..
i wuld suggest tht u move to USA.

Hello everybody,

Im new to this forum and I find it very informative.. I ve a couple of questions.I'll be really please if anybody can help me!

Im pregnant and I got my remed request in MAY 2012. i got my remed done in MAY, but the dr dint do my XRAY.. Also dr said my application wont be processed til I get my XRAY done.

However in JULY I again recived 2 letters on same day stating tht I shld remed done n Passport request.

I submitted my passport in july, and havent heard since then from CHC I.

Im due inshaaAllah in OCTOBER.
my question is after baby il ve to get XRAY DONE. HOW LONG WIL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY APPLICATION.

AND HOW DO I GET MY BABYS CANADIAN PASSPORT?
WHT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? MY HUSBAND IS CANADIAN CITIZEN.

UL ve to get remed done.. n then india wil send it to islamabad.. i dont know how long process wil take,

on this forum alot of ppl hve applied for their babies canadian pp.. u can ask them or call islamabad thou they r not helpful at all..
i think u shld ask ur spouse to call canada CIC.. THEY R helpful..
