CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Thanks Farhan for the information. I am almost done with compiling tons and tons of information. The good thing with me is that I have been staying with my husband in Canada for the duration of my sponsorship application since I have been completing my studies from Canada.

Does anyone think that I should notify CHC Islamabad about my new address in Canada because I was staying at Pakistan when my husband filed the initial sponsorship application and thats why my Pakistani address was listed there. Does CHC Isb send letters to Canada ?

yes they do send letters to canada but it wil reach u atleast in a month.. ! cuz its not fedex its a registered mail tht takes longer!

islamabad embassy is messed up.. they ask for pp in 15 days n they dont return our pp for months.. losers!

my friend that received the call got his passport 3 days before the deadline
so i would say
keep your bags packed
and your ticket ready

yikes! its kinda unfair to expect people will be ok with them returning the passport so close to the deadline. My deadline is for the 25th and I arranged tickets for the 23rd. if I received the passport on the 24th, what am I even supposed to do with that..

well immigration is a big setp in life and good part is that this going to be a one time thing
my suggestion to you is, if you receive your passport earlier InshAllah change your flight to the next available one and dont take chance with your visa, i think Pia allows you two changes in the flight plan for free
because if your flight gets cancled or you miss your flight for any reason only 2 days before your visa expires you might run out of options

Dear its not the list of ppl who applied in august ...It is the list of ppl who got decision made on ecase in august 2012. CHC took so long to return the pp back bc of eid holidays ..It took 15/20 days to the ppl of the list to got pp back after the visa was issued.BTW I got aor in dec 2010 and got my case finalized in aug 2012 ..It was a simple straight forward wife case with my 6 years old son.

Make a call on landline, get appointment, go to CHC Islamabad and ask for you passport.

now when you get your passport my advice is dont tell alot of ppl that you got your passport back with VISA
because that will be a PASSPORT WITH CANADIAN VISA
if you know what i mean ......... ;D
if someone really wana shout with excitement and tell everyone about it ....... well that why we have this forum..... ;D
where 50% already have already have canadian visa other 50% are waiting for their own and 100% ppl dont know who you really are ;D
