I came across a strange document in my AOR. Its a declaration for immigrants who must be registered or licensed in Canada in order to practise medicine. The declaration itself is not strange and I being a medical doctor am fully aware of the licensing restrictions in Canada. There are a couple of clauses in this declaration that are extremely strange.

These are:

1- There are virtually 0 opportunities to acquire further medical training in Canada leading to licensure.
2- my immigrant status will be affected by my failure to obtain a license to practice medicine in any Canadian province or territory.


Well it is very straight forward and truthful of the Canadian government to admit in 1 that there are virtually 0 opportunities for doctors . It is very strange to see 2 because I have applied in the family sponsor category (spouse) and I dont see any reason why my immigrant status will be affected by my failure to obtain a license? Its absurd.

Any doctor to shed light on this stupendous document that I have to sign anyway ?

hi everyone . please sombody helpe me . got remedical +ppr from CHC islamabad and remedical time was 30 days and ppr was 15 days now my ppr time will be finsh after 4 days and i will be finish with my medical tomoroww i will go to pakistan and send my pasport after tomorrow . now my quetion here i have just 2 days for send pasport how long time take TCS to delevering my pasport to CHC isalamabad ? i have just 2 days it will a problome ?

Farhad jan they deliver it only in one day...they will give u tracking number. u can see it online too....tell ur wife to have the receipt with herself too....TCS will ask ur mobile number..give them ur phone number..while they delivered ur passport so they will text you too. and pay them 300 ruppes, but ur wife must tell them i m delivering passport bcz they care a lot for these things that is why they are asking 300 hundred.

My wife had to sign that too. Don't worry, in my opinion, it's a single letter prepared for all immigrants who are doctors (regardless of the form of their application). So, your immigrant status has nothing to do with your profession. Once a visa is stamped, you move to Canada and become permanent resident, and nobody can take that back!

Thanks Farhan for the information. I am almost done with compiling tons and tons of information. The good thing with me is that I have been staying with my husband in Canada for the duration of my sponsorship application since I have been completing my studies from Canada.

Does anyone think that I should notify CHC Islamabad about my new address in Canada because I was staying at Pakistan when my husband filed the initial sponsorship application and thats why my Pakistani address was listed there. Does CHC Isb send letters to Canada ?

I think you should keep track of whatever mail you receive on your Pakistan address as well. And you can send CHC a cover letter explaining that you are living with your husband on a TRV. I don't think that should be a problem.

it is so simplein lahore, go sp office, they will give 2forms english and urdu. Fill the forms, attach your pics, id card copy and passport copy. Submit the forms, they ll give you the token, deleiver date will be on token. No need to go Policestation. In 1 or 2 days Police will come to ur home for investigation, ll see your id card and confirm your residentional status. Go to the sp office on given date. You ll get Pcc, its very simple

yes u must notify islamabad CHC by email n also on the website www.cic.gc.ca where you check your status change your address to canadian address where ur living rightnow! u can do tht as you r currently in canada..

also if your studyin there, u had the option of spouse in canada immigration it takes only 8-12 months.. but since you ve already applied from pakistan i dont think u can change to this option.
