I thought I read that you have to send the passport with a prepaid return? maybe that's just optional. Can someone confirm? I'd rather send a prepaid return for Fedex / TCS overnight service than to wait on Pakistan Post slow service lol.

When I sent in my passport, TCS said they don't have that prepaid option. When CHC sent me the AOR last month it was through TCS with payment on delivery, so we had to pay the guy who delivered it. So I'm hoping CHC would do the same for the passport.

Can anyone else verify this?

my timeline is ,,

File transfer in feb,2011
Received ppc and imm form for fillup feb,2012
after that no update any one can tell me what the hell they stop working on my application
ecase is still ,, application received.

i apply two times in caips notes...

two results is same

Illegibility not started
criminal not started
medical not stated
assesment notstart

Any one Can help me ,, any idea need your experinece member help...

i received in june 2012 letter "ACKNOWLEGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION" in which they gave me new UCI , one application no which starts from F and one paper file no which starts from B.

( one UCI we already have from letter which my husband received in which its written that he is eligble to sponsor me and my file is tranfer to islamabad)
i just want to know that is that "ACKNOWLEGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION" AOR and is AOR means that they start reviewing my case, because in this AOR they request few additional proofs and re pcc.
and my status shows Application received,, we received ur permannet residence application on feb 2012.
and Medical results have been received.
so what it means??

Yes my husband was working n living in saudi arabia for 3 yrs. Does this affect the delay.

wow! u r lucky u got AOR in 6 months, i also applied in feb 2012 and file transferred to isb MAY 29 2012 but i have not received anything yet online status shows we received ur application for permanent resident feb 2012.

MP stands for Member of Parliament. You can not contact MP as u r in pakistan. your spouse can contact her MP in Canada and request for update on ur case. hope dis helps

wow! u r lucky u got AOR in 6 months, i also applied in feb 2012 and file transferred to isb MAY 29 2012 but i have not received anything yet online status shows we received ur application for permanent resident feb 2012.

yeah i got AOR on june 24, 2012 and submitted re pcc and new bill and more additional proofs which they requested.i submitted all that on 3 july,2012 , now i am waiting for their next step i dont know when they contact me next.

Ecas Status Only showing" Application received to sponsor ABC on 17-jan-2012"

No medical received line showing there

No ..MP is not jason kenny ...MP is member of parliament ..Google ur area MP!Like My hubby lives in brampton so our Mp is pram gill u search ur mp.... and then ask him to send email to CHC_Isl regarding ur current status of application ..They don't ignore Mp's email and reply them fast .

Every time when CHC_I uses Tcs service u need to pay the guy who deliver it to u ..Look I paid 200 rupees to tcs guy when he delivered my medical and again 200 rs when he delivered passport request and gonna pay again when he will be delivered my passport along with my documents.

That is a very rare case, that one gets AOR in less than six months. I know most 2012 cases still have no AOR (me included). I applied in Feb 2012....
