its 26 months know

july 23 the qurater ended

looking at 2011 cases it should be more like 16 months

ur visa will return next couple of weeks

documents requested : mid of june,2012
sent all required documents ( like re police, other proofs) at yhe start of july, 2012

Is anybody have any idea that when they contact me again.. how much months should i have to wait ?

I am visiting various Forums from since 2008 and have seen too many cases for FSW 1 and same as for family class now. Dont ever be upset with your on line status and just focus at the physical processing of your file. I remember in 2009 when i got Immigration in FSW ,my status changed only one day prior to the visa stamping. Still i am done with the medicals in June( Family Class) and on line status shows " Application received". I know its better to have an eye at on line status but dont get stuck with it. (Hathi k dant khaney k aur dikhaney k aur) May God Bless all of us !

I need your help. My wife & son are now with me in Pakistan and we are so happy because we are together and we are enjoying to much. but now i am sad too because they are going back to Canada on 2nd August my application in process and the status showing is...application received to sponsor ABC on 17th January.I have not heard from them at all, nor by email or by mail. Should i be concerned? or should i contact them again by email? is there anything i can do in order to know whether my file has been opened or not?

I am very confused...and feel like I have no power or information on my case.
I really don't want to see my wife leave with my child on august 2nd while leaving me behind.....my child is only 3 months old and I would love to be with him as they both, my wife and child are in great need of me.

what should or CAN I do?
Please help!

Your not going to like my response, but the reality is, you can do nothing but pray. We all have gone through this process, and have all felt helpless, powerless.

Take as many pictures of you and your family, and extended family. Send a copy of your wife and child's boarding card, Passport, ticket, family pics to the Canadian High commission.

Keep records of all phone calls, emails, skype chat records, and mail it to the high commission withe your File Number prominently written on it voluntarily. This will help, and may save you a bit of time.

The way it will save you time is that when they intend to send you a notice to send additional information, they will see that they already have it, so they will not send you a request, saving you 2-4 weeks.

ur file has transferred to ISLAMABAD on March 2012, so ur a realli new case here, and that is the time u start counting of ur initial review which is from 8-12 months now. Like other members have said send additional documents and wait till they give u a response but u can email them n ask for ur file number and from there u can send emails to CHC starting November or December to see how much ur case has progressed

Alhumdulillah , today I received my Passport back from CHC Islamabad with stamp Visa. but my visa does not have Picture. any idea. plz update.
