yasirman.. can you please tell me the layout of the letter you wrote to CHC-I. I am in the same situation as you. My wife is in Canada alone n she is taking care of our 5 months old daughter alone. she is also getting very frustrated managing things on her own.
My file got transferred to CHC-I in June 2011 and we still haven't heard from CHC_I at all.

I have a question guys!

On Ecas (Clients Application Status Check), if i log in with my wife's details only gives me "Application Received" but if i log in with my credentials, It says "Application Received" and also "Decision Made" where the application was received by Mississauga CIC in Sept 2011 and the case got accepted. After that, the case was transferred to Islamabad CIC for further processing in Nov, 2011.

So far i have not heard anything from CIC. I suppose this is normal. How long do you guys think i have to wait more ???

Thats correct, you will see decision made when you log in using your information.
Descison made = sponsorship approval from CIC-Mississauga
Application received = Application to sponsor your wife received by Islamabad.

Although my wife didn't get this request, but I assume that you should only submit one copy of proof. Make sure you mark the pictures who/when/where and highlight the calls on the phone bill to make it easier for your Immigration officer.

AOR would be just an acknowledgement of receipt letter where they tell the applicant that their file is received on such and such date and would be processed within the timeline. I don't think I know anyone who got an AOR after OCT 2010 file transfers.

can any one tell me how long does it take for chci to send my passport back i did my remed 22 march and send my passport after a week?

My wife's passport was sent around the same time. I think it should be between 3-4 weeks to get the passport back. I am hoping that's the case
