Hi...

My husband received his request for re-medical exam.. since the one we sent earlier had expired.. he completed his medical exam on april 3rd, 2012. Now i was wondering how long its going to take.

Congratz ....it really depends on ther person handling ur file, it can take one month or 3 months...all the best...your almost there

Hey there, wish you guys a speedy visa processing. Just wanted to share my bit of the process I know. It is not because of staff shortage that medicals are sent to New Delhi, but because New Delhi is a "Regional Medical Office" for the subcontinent where all the medicals from the neighbouring countries are sent & stored. The respective visa offices have access only to the electronic version of the individual's medical profile rather than the actual file itself. It takes about a month for the visa office to access the file from the RMO after the medicals are done.

My wife got got Re-Med + PPR at the Canadian mailing address. It is with the representative and the last day to submit everything is April 14, 2012. Hence, we got 10 more days. The date on the letter was March 14, 2012 and it just arrived today. Also got the reply to the first e-mail today as today was the 15th working day.

Dilemma is that we only got 10 days. DUS DIN.

I still have to thank a lot of people here and I will do that once visa is stampted.

Hi, can anyone tell me if police certificate from Karachi now computerized, as in typed through computer. because the last time it was typed though a type writer .. i just have a bad feeling that they might have just messed it for me

yeh i hope it works out soon.. Im pregnant and my baby is due in June 2012 inshAllah.. so i came back to Canada in December 2011 because my parents are here.
I really hope he gets his visa soon so that he can be here for the baby's delivery!..

Okay I just noticed that the time period posted for assessment of sponsor has been extended from 55 days to 75 days. The wierd part is that last week CPC-Mississsauga was working on applications received on Jan 25th and today it says they are working on applications received on Jan 18th. Can someone confirm this? What are you thoughts on this. I have just submitted my application to CPC - Mississauga and I have confirmed they received my application on March 15th.

there delayed because of chirstmas holidays and since 2 more holidays this week it will go up may be upto 80 days
