i know its not related to topic but plzz i need some info i got married in december.
now am sending my file to my spouse in canada to submit..

My quistion is for pakistanies they are asking for orignal papers like acdamic so should i send ambesy orignal papers or just notrized copies?

Thx in advance

Scan and save all originals on your computer and USB and make notarized copies if you need to use them in near future. Send them all originals as mentioned on the forms.

does your status now say that they have started to process your file this month? or does it still say that file transfered to pak feb 17? cause mine now says that they have started to process the file this month....

just checked my ecas yesterday and it says "In Process"...finallyyyyyyyyyy....god damn march and april people are receiving request letters and PPRs...and nothing for jan and feb people...we are just sitting here...we submitted as much proof as them..like wtf man...its not fair...nothing is in order...i know a member....april file transfer....his ecas status is "In Process" already...like wtf....whyyyyyyy....wait homie...let others b4 u go first....

now i know how best bro feels...

Some jan n feb 2011 cases say in process but mine doesnt show ma address for 5 weeks now n jus says application received n they are ignoring ma fuc*king emails

Hello Peepz.

What are the implications if case is in process and spouse is pregnant. Filed for case in April 2011. The file was transferred to ISB office in May 2011. So far haven't heard anything from CIC office and family's (wife and dauhter) Medical will be expiring on March 7, 2012.

If you are a citizen, then your new child is a Canadian Citizen at birth, no matter where the child is born. The impact to your wife will be that she cannot get a new medical performed till the child is born, since she cannot get a Xray while pregnant.

Your new born child can get neccessary travel documents in 2-4 weeks.

If you are not a citizen, you will have to notify the High Commission, and add the new born child to your application.

My question is whats next? What should we be expecting? And approx when?

This is only applicable to wife cases. If the child is born midway through the process , ie: after rukhsati or after a visit. In such case, you have to wait till they ask for Re-med to be done and once they do you can't get it done b/c the child is still in the womb. Hence, CHC-I puts another BFD on your file until after the birth of the child.

Long story short, If you want to have a child and you are a Citizen, have it right after rukhsati. This way you will have the kid before the medicals expire and before the initial review starts.

hard to understand the axact procedure of visa office how they process application ...

Just remember if one decides to have a child right after marriage, then you need a lot of patience as your worries will increase with your wife's pregnancy. At the same time, she will have a hard time without her husband being there for all the ups and downs and trips to the hospital. Its another thing to the husband to go visit for the delivery but still needs lots and lots of patience if one decides to take this step.

The best thing in my opinion is to wait till the immigration process is over and once the couple is together in Canada, then its easier to plan for kids.
