Could anyone please tell me after sending additional documents how much takes time to get remedical n passport request??

well dear no one cn tell u the exact time duration after sending additional documents mostly it takes 1.5 to 2 months .. i got medical request letter after sending additional docs which took almost 1.5 months !

I sent additional documents of my trip to kabul its been almost 3 weeks and i tracked it and registered.. the tracking online reports that it is in pakistan but still in transit. Does it normally take this long.. im worried.

Bro it would be better u send it by dhl, send an email to canada post for further investigation

Don't worry u will get it very soon.. They will issue u visa before ur medical expires which will expire in next 5 months..

It’s just a month into 2014, but the cap of 5,000 complete applications for parent and grandparent (PGP) sponsorship applications has already been reached. Therefore, new intake into the PGP program will again pause until next year to keep the program at a manageable level for Citizenship and immigration Canada. By the end of 2014, Canada is expected to welcome an additional 20,000 parents and grandparents to Canada, marking a substantial reduction in wait times for applicants.

“Our government understands the importance of spending time with family and loved ones and we committed to improving the immigration system so that families can be reunited more quickly. Canada has the most generous family reunification program in the developed world. Complementing this program, the new Super Visa remains a convenient option with a high approval rate for those who wish to visit their families in Canada for up to two years at a time,” said the minister. The Super Visa is a multiple-entry visa, valid for up to 10 years, which allows a parent or grandparent to stay in Canada for up to 24 months at a time without having to renew their status.

The PGP program will re-open to new applications in January 2015. Further details will be available closer to that date.

Hi every one

I have a question if some 1 can answer..

Any 2012 applicant have interview request from CIC Islamabad?
CIC didn't mentioned anywhere they are currently working on which files for interview..
They only mentioned interview que is very long so applicant have to wait 9 10 months some times 12 months but its now 2014 so any 2012 applicant already attend interview? Am wondering if CIC still working on 2011 applicants for interview...

My husband got his visa but it is not as it supposed to be.
On his visa they put his first name in place of last name and left first name blank. Example : james edward
On visa:
Family name: james
Given name:
It is supposed to be
Family name: Edward
Given name: James

What should we do, can he travel with this Visa or we need to send passport back

There is no way he can travel on that visa. He will need to send it back. CHC-Islamabad making such a mistake is unbelievable.

Did you send it via Canada post? I sent mine through them in October as well and it took about 3 weeks for the status to change to 'delivered'. But, the postal code they had put there was not the one for CHC-I so I thought they had delivered it to the wrong address. I sent the docs again thru UPS in Dec. When I got my gcms notes in Jan though, it said that they had gotten the original package in November and had them added to my file. So I wouldn't worry too much. See what your notes say...

Is this on COPR or Visa ( Stamp ) as COPR can be corrected at landing and the visa is basically for the airline desk to be checked at Pakistani airport. You can go personally to embassy to see if it can be corrected
Try and email ISL with URGENT - INCORRECT NAME ON VISA FILE # FXXXXXXXXXX
They would probably email you back very quickly, after seeing that subject

That is horrible that CHC can make such a big error. Name on visa should've been written as was on passport. Where did these officers come from?? ???
