CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

My E case doesnt say medical received. although file was transferred to Ottawa. Did anyone of you experience same issue?

sis I have the list saved somewhere, I will look for it and post it

this list is only for June/July remedical please... becuase june/july remedical have already passed 6-7 months time period (average time to get PPR after medical) and also if i add all remedicals then it will get bigger and then nobody wiould like to update it again just like the previous list i created and it got lost. and now i cannot find it....

My hubby received his passport today me so happy it almost took 26 Months his case would have been done early but due to some problem going on with july re-medicals thts y he received his pp late.

i would lyk to thxs qamalik N wes786 for being helpful.

i wish jaania,became-a-loner,R-Mujagni,sabii,impulsive,mera kawab,canadian bear case will b done soon Inshallah.

lastly i wanna say b patience its nothing to do with CIC its all about ur documents how u sended N what proofs u sending them N at what tym.

Got an update at my end;

Finally the long wait is over, I got my passport back with a visa stamp on it! Alhamdolillah!

I want some valuable input from forum members regarding my concern as I am really confuse. cHC asked me to submit pics within 45 days of my ruksati which I did and its been a month now so what was the point of giving that deadline???

I just received all paper from my Wife today and will going to send the application very soon.

But I have a little issue, the pictures she sent (PP size) I just checked and measure them and the size from Chin to Crown is not between 25 to 30 mm but 35 mm (full size is ok 35mm x 45mm) Those photographs in Pakistan don't know anything :S this piss me off, Is this ok to send like this ? or I risk to get all my file back because of this ? Has anyone had this issue before ? did you guys check this Chin to Crown size ?

Also some of the forms my wife signed and dated it in blue (all other info filled is printed in black) Will this cause any problem ?

Dear Forum members,As i said before my Case is queue to be review by decision making officer. my wife is coming after 4 days here inshallah.Is it a good idea if i only send her ticket and her passport boundry exit and entry (Not other relationship proofs like pics,phone calls, skype)
so will they process the case or not? my wife will b here for 1 and half month, is it a good idea to tell them i wish to go back with her, it is already 21 months and i still didnt get ppr?

i agree with sabii. u r in the final stage so the best suggestion wud be to stay put. If u do get ur ppr while your wife is here then u can sent her itinerary and request them if they can issue the visa sooner.

or you can ask ur wife to contact her mp before she comes down to c whts the hold-up?

if your file is not in interview queue then dont send anything now... you are at the final stage of PPR and if you send anything at this time they will take more time to review it i guess.... baqi seniors can tell you better

dear Sabi sister i ordered GCMS notes 2 months before and i still didnt get those notes so i still don't know wether my case is waived or not. there is one senior member, he said don't send them other proofs like pics, phne bills, cards etc bcz they gonna read ur file again which will b delay. he said only send them ur wife ticket and her passport entry and exit. also tell them i hope to get ppr+ visa soon that i can go back with her...so i m still confused wether to send them or not...

So someone in the CPP-Ottawa thread just got a response from Ottawa regarding the processing times:


Application Received Date Review Date* By what date can you expect to receive the next update from CPP-O?

before 1 September 2011 On or before 28 February 2013 By 28 February 2013
1 September – 30 November 2011 On or before 31 March 2013 By 31 March 2013
1 December – 28 February 2012 On or before 31 May 2013 By 31 May 2013
1 March – 31 May 2012 On or before 31 August 2013 By 31 August 2013
... after 1 June 2012 After 31 August 2013 After 31 August 2013

So these guys are just working on files which were transferred to them before Sep 2011...
This means we are looking at atleast 19 months before our files even get opened by CPP-Ottawa, not to mention the processing time beyond that.
It seems CPP-Ottawa is the worst thing that could have happnd to the the late 2011 and 2012 applicants, we would have been better off if our files went to Islamabad!
