Hey Guys,

Today is my last day on this site. It was an extremely useful site and thanks to everyone who contributed to educate me one way or the other. Sponsorship to Canada WILL NOT work for everyone, and unfortunately, we are one couple it didn't work out for.and have agreed to each move on as CIC completely screwed up our lives together. That being said, I know the bad guys out there have made the process so tough and good people end up getting refused. Good luck to all out there still expecting their decisions, and for those like me, take heart and move on. Life must always continue

To make things worse. Islamabad has gone up from 26 months to 28 months. I suppose they should just close down the canadian high commission.

Making us the 2nd highest waiting period. Just behind kenya at 29 months.

Alhamdulillah today I received an email from CPC-M for my approval to sponsor my wife (Step #1) and now our file is transferred to:

Islamabad
High Commission of Canada
Visa Section
P.O. Box 1042
Islamabad
Pakistan

I applied on Jan. 10 (received on 11th) and got the approval for Step#1 today - Total 22 days ... Even when the processing time online said 55 days.

QUESTIONS:
1) How long in your experience will it take to transfer our file to the Visa office?

2) Will I receive any notification from the Visa office that they have received my file?

3) Did any members on their STEP#1 approval letter/email actually show Ottawa-CPP as their Visa office or did everyone show Islamabad, but later after inquiring by phone/email/MP etc. did they find out that their files were actually sent to CPP-OTT? - I ask this question bc as I was reading the boards before, I had often read that most people were confused as to whether their files were sent to OTT or ISB as the STEP#1 approval letter said ISB but they were getting emails, letters, etc. from OTT.

Any information/help would be greatly appreciated! Thxs.

No no , mine for sure is the laziest ever..re-medical july 2012, nothing since. :

mine is lazy and stupid, these useless fools in Canadian Fools Commission seem to have misplaced my wife's remed or something. They sent us a request again, even though 12 months aren't up. And even when she called to make appointment, they told her shes already done the remed...so she had to explain that they sent another request. So now she has to email them the letter as proof.

If I only knew what I had to deal with by doing what I did. This racist commission can go fuck itself.
