CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Salaam everyone. an update from my side, ALHAMDULILLAH got PP back with visa this morning , whole process took 15 months and 5 days since app filed. the detailed timeline is posted on the side.

I have one question from senior members who already got their visas, how much time do we have to make an entry to Canada, is that the expiry date on the visa that they stamped on PP? cuz mine is for oct 2013 when the med expires. also, whats the significance of Confirmation of permanent residence, do we have to fill anything out or sign anything or what?

FYI!

I had to wait for almost 4 months after my remedical was done to get a PPR and even then they had not received by medical results.

remed was done six months back and am still waiting....

I received a call from MP that they called embassy and got a response that my file is forwarded to immigration officer and invitation will be sent for interview. In the worst case, if they ask for interview what homework / documentation one should be doing for that session. I believe you need to be prepared and have some supporting documentation to proof your continued relationship with sponsor. Any advice???? I had submitted re-medical of my wife in July 2012.

What, they asked for Interview? but i heard whenever someone file is put for interview they are getting interview after year or 15 months? CHC is just Shit. now those who did their remedicals too, so they are still taking objection on them.too bad

They asked me for re-pcc. If they didn't ask your husband for that then they don't want that from him.

Hey dear, my i know when did they asked for REPCC from u? i also did remedical in july and then asked for REPCC on the end of september? also let me know what ur ecas status shows, application received or in process? waiting for the reply
