My wife received back her passport with VISA and all the original and photocopied documents!

PPR was on Aug11th, PP reached the embassy on the 15th, VISA issued on the 19th, and PP came back on the 24th.

They never sent any request to my wife (its my wife's case) . In response of email sent in Jan 2011, to find about the file number, as AOR never received, got the following response

"Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review. "

after that i sent three emails but never got any reply not even acknowledgement emails. Only thing happened was, two weeks back Address disappeared and came back three days ago.

Ok so that means your wife's file is still in quere for initial review they havn't opened it yet. Currently they are sending out requests to Sept/Oct files so you do the math where you stand!

I think you'll probably be hearing from them in the coming month or So Inshallah..cz usually it takes them approx 11-12 months to OPEN up your file the first time.. ie: first correspondence.. n that's usually the IMM, supplement and Police Cert request!!
Inshallah yours is in the process and you should be getting it soon, don't worry and have faith.

Karachi-Toronto direct on sundays is 70,000 and emirates in 75,000( via dubai) but emirates plane is much better....but if you are travelling with children then PIA will be your best option.... these are the prices for one way

Yes bro, I have been looking. There are three flights that go from from Karachi to Toronto, Sundays-its straight from Kar to Tor, Teusdays-its karachi to toronto via lahore, Fridays-its karachi to toronto via islamabad. So yeah I am looking and this is probably the best bet for me however, I heard their service sucks

I got my IMM stuff on July 14th, it had been dispatched on July 9th
then I got my re-med on Aug 9th, it had been dispatched on Aug 4th
I got my med done on Aug 10th, and today I got my PPR. Since it was TCS, tu it was COD Aug 24th.
