i have a feeling that all of US i mean all of 2010 candidates are going to be wrapped up very soon and there will be a huge batch of PPR and Re-Med going to be sent out in the coming months of September and November..

InshAllah....Ali's case has given me hope..he seems to be pretty much in my shoes...it took them 4 months to respond so if things go smooth, I should expect something in Oct -nov...hopefully a positive news :-X

I e-mailed CHC again yesterday and this is the reply I got this morning:

Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review. Requested documetns have been received and have been forwarded to applicant's file. Medical examination results have not been recevied yet.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

I pray in September we hear of ppr and he'd get visa before October so he can come back with me from my visit to Pakistan in September. Do you think this wishful thinking is too wishful or is it near being realistic? :-[ I'm surprised that its still in queue for review. I first saw that in March/April and still its in queue for review makes wonder if this is going to drag even more. *sigh*

Hello,
I am writing an article on sponsering spouses from pakistan, what are some of the concerns, complaints about sponsership on this forum? Thank you for your help

I will tell you the two main issues that we currently face:

1) 24 month timeline - Biggest issue right now as in Pakistani culture real relationship starts after the husband and wife start living together i.e. long distance don't really work well for us and we suffer a lot of torture during this time. They start processing the application 11-12 months after the file transfer to Islamabad so during this time the file collects dirt. On the other hand the chances increase for the relationship to have more negativity as during this time the person being sponsored goes through hell by answering family & relatives when his/her visa will come and the comparision to timelines a few years back or for a different country... you catching my drift ?

2) Reduced Visa Quota for Pakistan compared to India & China. (You need to do some research on the numbers as the number of applications in these countries are way higher than Pakistan but still their processing time is 6 months max). We feel discriminated against by the Canadian Immigration. We have written several letters to the Canadian Immigration regarding this issue but we get a general reply telling us to be patient and they are doing their best.

Ramadhan Mubarak to you as well ... Alhumdulillah I am doing good sister .. How is everything with you ?

I doubt he would get his Visa before October as they have been really slow lately. People who got their medical done in May are still waiting for PPR. So looking at their current speed, I really doubt it. But you know Allah is the greatest, He can do miracles. Just make lots of dua and InshAllah you will get some good news soon

Everything is alright, just busy. I'm excited about going but then I know I'll be very sad when coming back. I try not to think about it but its hard not to.
