Any inputs whats happening with my case ? and why this change of file # ?
Previously file numbers were with B.., now they have moved on a new system and all file numbers are starting from F. I am justing interpreting, please dont consider as a final analysis. However, it seems that all files that have not had their initial reviews yet and AOR perhaps after some cutoff date like October 2010, are experiencing this upgrade. I am sure this will not affect any thing on individual cases and hopefully improve the processing times in days to come Inshallah. All the bestmuzmil said:

There are changes in sponsorship application also so any one applying now, please take a look at new forms

It depends upon your timeline. I got the same reply every time we emailed them (in process/ in queue for review blah blah) and it wasn't until one year had passed that I received any kind of correspondence from the CHC.kachrakhana said:

I am planning to travel to the US in Aug/ around eid time but I'm hesitant because my re-med might come during that time frame. Now, my main concern is that assuming I go to the US in aug; and my re-med request comes in the mean time, will I be able to get my re-med done from anywhere (ie: US) as long as I take the re-med form with me (which my father-in-law will send me via courier to the US) or will I have to come back to pakistan, get my med done and THEN wait (in Pak) for god knows how long before they ask me for my passport/ visa issuance?

Your application is currently in process and that there are certain issues that cannot be addressed or assessed without an in-person interview. Unfortunately, at this point in time, it is not possible to give a timeframe for the interview.
If you have any updated documents such as photographs and other proof of the sponsor's visits since the wedding, proof of contact including telephone bills, emails and letters, proof of financial support and any other proof of an on-going relationship, you are welcome to submit these to us. Such documents would help us in assessing your application.

It feels like they are still not very excited about the proof you have sent to them so far because it takes them about 4-6 weeks to open your mail (unless it is the situation where they have not reviewed your sent proof so far), as stated in their email, keep loading them with as much proof as possible I would say on Monthly basis and they may end up waiving off interview as it has happened to few members.
