Yep just give it a little more time and you should receive something shortly!humpakwatan said:Thanks WES for the feedback and all your help! I guess there is no need to panic yet and just wait some more.
Lonly without hubby- I'll keep you posted if I have some news. We are both August AORs and I saw some other August ones too.

True as WES said, in my case the process started in March -10 and I ordered CAIPS somewhere around Nov 10. However, thankfully they had opened my file in Dec and it was mentioned that marriage appears genuine etc and medical received bla bla. Still they asked for proof regarding continuity of relationship and also Re PCC along with that. Yet another communication from them came only in April 2011. So you can see that its normal for them to not to touch the file till at least 9 months. I am hoping that they are now processing faster so may be six months but dont worry till its some where 12 months but do email them, they may reply. I am not sure what other people think on this forum but even my CAIPS notes mention the emails that I have sent them so do send them emails occassionaly as in give a gap of five to six weeks in between each email as this puts them under some pressure. Also in my last email reply they (CIC-isb) told me to check status on documents sent after 4-6 weeks and not before that. This implies that I can send them emails in this time frame and atleast on paper, they are obliged to replyhumpakwatan said:Thanks WES for the feedback and all your help! I am assuming that you are a canadian citizen yourself so they would most likely speak to you. However, when my husband was here, we even visited CIC-isb but they did not meet us with regards to sponsorship as they say they are not allowed to. Same is the case on phone. They would speak to u but would not give you any information. Frankly to me it seems that there is no staff that is there, only visiting staff that comes, do work and then go back but nothing for sure that i know, just a wild guess looking at their speed as well as the way they behaved with us.zwm said:PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP

Yep normally it takes them about 1.5 to 2 months to sort out their mail room and attach the document to files. Its just another way of delaying the process...KAAMIA72 said:True as WES said, in my case the process started in March -10 and I ordered CAIPS somewhere around Nov 10.
