Anyway this news of Jason Kenney moving makes me happy but then I think about it the new minister will also be conservative and will push conservative immigration so I don't know if things will get any better. I guess all we can do is dua that the new minister will be somewhat more openhearted.

My situation is little different. The reason why I didn not have many Rukhsati pictures were because his immidiate family had a member who passed away so we had to adjust to that and cut down on Valima. I guess I should have visited him before and not wait till this ugly letter that I got...anyways I will try my best to stay calm and make wise decisions at this point. Thanks for the support....

Bro.. I have had same situation like you and very few members (100 guest) attended our valima due to heavy rain in the city and the result was rejection letter which suffered us two more years...... you are lucky you dont have that Allah na karay you will have it..... You should also collect death certificate of your close relative and provide relationship with you & your wife.
