Please do no use Forum as a chat room. You have msn and facebook for that. No one posts every few minutes. Its a forum and people post when they have news or just a joke here and there but not 15 posts a day by one person, it goes from being active to being annoying. i have a question if anybody wanna answer...my file was approved and transferred to ISB in September and at that time i was given a UCI # and Application # from CPC-M so my question is that do i have to contact CHC-I for Immigration file # or the application # given by CPC-M is infact the file #?? please advise

Do you mean September 2011? Since June 2011, they have started streamlining the process and the applicants are given a UCI # and the File # when you recieve sponsorship approval. So if your application number starts with either a F******* or a B******, then that's your File no.

Glad to be of help I think you should be able to login to e-cas by now using the Application No. and the Applicants details.

yes, i was able to check my husband's case status as soon as i got that app # ...i asked few ppl here and always got same reply to contact chc-i but i was not sure if app # and imm file # are different....thanks for da clarification
